What we're really discovering is that the israelis have always been jumping up and down monkeys ooking for war and that "the adults in the room" have always been the admins telling them to be cautious and the timing was wrong. Those admins were trying to protect israel's reputation from their own behavior by not jumping head first into iran.

Israel says bomb. So trump bombs. Seemingly like a good little shabbos goy. What happened next? All the bomb-iran types started whining about how "trump's doing it wrong". Why? because no boots on the ground. They want infantry casualties. They want iran's forces tied up in ground combat. Instead iran gets ass fucked with bombs and has the wherewithall to fire missiles back. Missiles that penetrated iron dome and hid israeli civillian targets as well is globally critical petroleum infrastructure in the surrounding states. Iran couldnt hurt the US so it hurt everyone else. No quagmire, as much as the media is pretending thats what the straight is, but yes to following israel's orders. Out in the open on top of that. Israel's political credibility is nuked, and as far as the left is concerned their condemned morally for being white european colonizers genociding innocent browns. The midterms will be a referendum on israel. AIPAC candidates will get primaried. Seats will flip over israel loyalty. Anti-israel candidates will spoil elections, almost win, and sometimes win. The candidates with no principles will start altering their cost benefit calculations as far as siding with israel in all cases. Once their support is <100% it'll be a deluge of candidates pushing further, polling higher, and pushing a little more back on israel just to look tough to their voters and to court the anti-israel voice in their tribe if it gets ignored.
