people who indulge in those substances consistently become more unstable over time on average and chances are they are already potheat/drug addict/both. however they are now (and have been for almost 60 years with varying intensity) been wink wink nudge nudge promoted because they want modern society to unravel in order to "resurrect" something "new" from its ashes

I have an autistic special interest in mushrooms and foraging for them. So this is something I study regularly.
Kind of insane considering they grow across most of the world naturally. Whether it be Psilocybe or Panaeolus species. The fuck you gonna do, go out and tell the mycelium it's illegal and to go away?
>>
>>536666618
you have to be literally retarded to let the ban stop you. ordering spores, which start mushrooms, is legal for "microscopy", so you can only "view them for fun". aka you buy some microwavable rice cups or rice bags, inject em with the spores, and then just wait. then transfer to monotub, etc.
you can get way fancier, people will snob the setup, but it works and is super easy. do like 5-10 cups so you have many chances at it working as you may/will get failures (aka green shit), but all the inoculations can't be bad unless you have really terrible luck

Just buy truffles or a truffle growkit in the Netherlands. Shrooms here are banned after 1 drunk stoned chick took them and drowned in a channel. Anyway they both have the exact same psychedelic compound psilocin and psilocybin. Taste like fucking dirt though, eat with pure chocolate or make into tea.

its a lot more complicated for that. for One, psilocybe spores are illegal in georgia, idaho, and oregon. Two, you need to be as sterile as possible to get good results even 2 out of 10 requires nearly still air and a shit ton of isopropyl alcohol. three, the rice bags cannot contain sodium (salt) which is extremely deadly to psilocybe. Funny that salt circles were believed in ancient times to be a barrier to spiritual entities, while salt kills a fungus that allegedly lets you contact ethereal entities...I wouldn't think too much about it!

Because it grows in nature naturally and therefore can't be monetized.

we can't have people stumbling around channeling the gateway to the gods, anon. There have to be limits imposed for the sake of decency in law and order.

Alcohol's been a staple of western culture since its foundation. It's not going anywhere.
The push to legalize weed across the west is relatively recent. It's not particularly debilitating at common doses so it has a social atmosphere to it and a building stigma against anyone opposed to its normalization.
Psychedelics have always been niche, even cultures that integrated their use would only do them under specific circumstances. They are highly debilitating and the resulting delusions can cause unpredictable behavior. So they will never have the same mainstream penetration and their advocates always come off as morons.

Big Pharma.
Too cheap and easily made or grown to be profitable for big Pharma, and would BTFO all their money making drugs like SSRI's.

I don't drink any more. I'd really like to be able to go to a brick and mortar shop and buy some good quality weed with good recommendations to give me the relaxed, heady buzz and body high that I want, rather than having to interface with some dodgy paki drug dealer who'll just give me any old shit that will nuke my brain and leave me dribbling onto my chin on the sofa all evening.
I guess I could grow my own. I've been playing a lot of schedule 1. I like the idea of having a cosy little potting shed with a well organised little private grow op in there. Just a few high quality setups to produce enough yields for weekly use for myself and perhaps a few close friends.
Why the fuck shouldn't I be allowed to do that? I can grow 20,000 potatoes in my veg patch if I want but I can't have a few weed plants because if I roll it up and smoke it I get what... Happy? Sociable? Horny? Hungry? Relaxed? Heaven forbid a man be able to unwind on a Friday, after a week of servitude, with a fat joint and a cold beverage.
But I can go to the supermarket and buy a giant slab of lager and drink the entire thing myself absolutely obliterating my liver and leaving me hanging out my arse for at least a day. That's all good apparently.

The elite don't want a thinking underclass, they want a working underclass. LSD, shrooms and marijuana open modes of thought and otherwise outside thee box modes and notions of thinking in novel ways that makes one realize everything they think they know about reality is wrong. And the only true drug there is are ideas.

they dont want you to know about the universal image board, it exists, but you need to take A LOT of LSD to get there. Im sure you can get better results on DMT but in my experience I made it with 500 micrograms of LSD. Crazy place, you learn a lot.

You already have a community of like-minded people you can socialize with. You don't need to partake in weed smoking rituals or alcohol consumption to function on a social level. For me personally, working on strengthening my physique has kept me clear from putting anything counter-productive in my body.

Is there not a nook in a nearby thicket of trees you could do a small outdoor grow in? I mean if you are smack dab in the middle of Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, et al., that's a different story, but out in something like Tynesdale or Durham would be a more reasonable area for having a hidden brush area?

regularly - that's the problem ... these are meant to be done a handful of times over the course of a lifetime ... you become a space cadet if you indulge regularly and can no longer function in society except to become a commune-living hippie

Some people get great benefits, realizations about oneself, religion asks the nature of the world. Some bet a psychotic breakdown and hurt themselves or others... it's too risky and needs the implicit cooperation of the people in using it in a responsible way. Cianiggers used them and other cults use them to break people.
It will never happen the government can use them to ruin you never in the benefit of the people at large.

I lift three times a week, run three times a week and often walk 15+ miles on a Sunday with a friend. I'm very keen on looking after myself.
It's good to relax though. It's good to have some small, pleasant ritual to look forward to.
I used to drink quite heavily on a weekly basis and I'm very glad to be free and clear of that but I'm just one of those that needs something. A little dry herb vape and some good quality weed would be the perfect chill aid for a summer Friday evening in the garden.

I've got a garden with two sizeable sheds in it. I could quite easily kit it out with the right equipment. Not sure where to source the raw materials but I know a guy who knows a guy who had his own little garden shed setup through covid with a lot of success so a few phone calls could probably get me going.
Could be a fun summer project.
