He was getting better during his commonwealth kingpin gimmick(especially during covid), but in aew he's regressed from what I've seen. Yes, but citing Okada and Ishii to defend himself is really weird. Okada sold fine, but his entire gimmick was that of a persistence hunter. You're gonna get tired before him so his lariat is gonna fuck you up. Ishii focused primarily on delayed sells and pretending he's not selling in the face of his opponent.
