It's just that the word is usually used in the context of "terrible booking" which almost always means "my favorite wrestler lost a match." It's the exact same thing as when little kids cry that Jey Uso lost, but they wrap it up and pretend they're sophisticated when they seethe about their favorite wrestler losing.

Totally fair. People absolutely conflate the idea of 'bad booking' with 'this isn't what I fantasy booked in my head'
