its gonna be jay and silent bob again and they're only gonna be available gor a 2 minute dynamite segment before they leave and the storyline goes nowhere
>>20618643 Funny how any and every rumored WWE signing gets their named beat over your head before they can even put pen to paper no less show up on tv but AEW ones are always kept so secret by the same people. Makes you think
>>20618737 Anon this is the history of AEW kek. The first few years of the company that they keep chasing after were only ever exciting because they kept signing and debuting past WWE names. They'd close out every ppv with the lights going out or having someone pop up somewhere. They did that shit with fucking Antonio Cesaro. Now I love me some Big Swiss. Dude's based. But he's not a show closing signing lmfao. Not in any promotion. They did it with Bryan. They did it with Adam Cole. They ran a whole show about signing CM Punk. The first Dynamite ended with Jack Swagger debuting. It's the only thing Tony can do to make the product seem interesting and it lets all the little sickos feel like they're sticking it to WWE
>>20618737 >ackshully you should never hire new people for some reason bro the anti aew discourse is dogshit lately but keep enjoying your jew dick sucking company bro
>>20618776 >The first few years of the company that they keep chasing after were only ever exciting because they kept signing and debuting past WWE names. It really is WCW 2.0
>>20618820 >Leon Slater That guy is as good as WWE bound. Just a matter of him getting out of his TNA contract >Ilja KEK the AEWxirs are once admitting their roster would be better if it was more like WWE's
>>20618764 >>20618820 Kairi's going back to Japan, Leon just said the 3 of the 4 greatest moments of his life were in WWE, and Dragunov is already in WWE
>>20618893 The symptom is that he constantly hires new people to fix his show and then drops them because he has no real plans for anything. A new hire won't freshen anything more than him reintroducing a talent he already has.
That's a funny thing to report >We know AEW sucks right now but be patient, new toys on the way! How about hiring an actual booker with experience instead?
>>20618798 Keep getting excited for the lights to go out at the end of every Dynamite, a song to play that you don't recognize and then the new toy comes out.
Given the state of the industry, every American promotion should try to stack their cards with as much former WWE talent as possible. There are so many guys signed to AEW who would be much better assets to AEW if they were allowed to go be part of NXT for a few years.
>>20619994 Or it means MLW or some other obscure promotion that airs on some cable channel nobody's ever heard of. "Nationally televised" is the most don't get your hopes of kind of shit I've ever heard kek
DADDY I'M BORED, I NEED NEW TOYS >but I just bought you that Italian fella a couple months ago BUT DADDDDDDD, I'VE ALREADY GIVEN HIM A HEATLESS BANGER AGAINST DARBY I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HIM
>>20620123 Slow down on the Steveweiser's brother. I've always said that Tony books AEW Title Cards. He books advertisements.
Seriously. Tony made this graphic and then jerked off into his own mouth. >"A dozen title matches but only 3 belts are actually on the line! I fooled the trannies again!"
>>20618776 It'll actually be funny if they go back to that. Pretending to be hyped about truly mid wrestlers debuting was Tony's only booking strategy for at least a year. His bland, forgettable, mediocre product of today is way harder to ridicule, because it's impossible to care about any of it. Watching him sign up all the recent WWE cast offs and pretend they're game changers would be the sort of comedy gold I miss from AEW.
>>20620599 >Pretending to be hyped about truly mid wrestlers debuting was Tony's only booking strategy for at least a year. Yup. It was a bunch of heatless bangers with no real overarching stories and then just closing each PPV out with a flavor of the month new signing who was an ex-WWE guy. Rinsed and repeated that shit for the first few years
>>20622570 Ricky and Danhausen wanted out of AEW. That's not how that works. Ethan Page and Pillman Jr were cut. All of the others from Jade to Penta to Blake to Cody etc all wanted out of AEW and declined an offer to re-sign or just outright quit in Cody's case
>>20622575 >has gotten great reactions on NXT 10+ years doing shows in front of the same 200 freaks who will cheer for anything does not equal great reactions anon.
>>20622590 What are you even talking about? Because I'm talking about Mike Santana. Who was in AEW and is current signed to TNA and who has had pop up appearances in NXT. He's not even signed with them, let alone regularly on, let alone been there for 10+ years
>>20622585 >All of the others from Jade to Penta to Blake to Cody etc all wanted out of AEW and declined an offer to re-sign or just outright quit in Cody's case Exactly. Got themselves on the radar of the big leagues and then dropped AEW like hot garbage at the first available opportunity.
>>20623024 Most of them were already on WWE's radar before they ever stepped foot in AEW too. Jade had done a tryout with WWE. Mariah had a merch modeling gig, a tryout, and I think did extra work. Ricky Saints did extra work. Spears spent like 15 years under some part of WWE's umbrella. Pillman Jr obviously has family ties to WWE. Cody and Punk obviously
>>20618643 New Day's no-compete is up around July isn't it? So will they just be "The Day" or "The Choir" or something since they can't legally use the term New Day?
My pick is Kairi for a tag team with Shirakawa
Dark horse pick here but I guarantee Steve Maclin is jumping ship for a bigger payday and to be with his wife.
>>20618643 Before anyone gets their hopes up... It's NOT Kross since, because Tony's tight with Callis, who was the reason Kross left TNA... Definitely not Matt Riddle, because he's him, and Matt being Matt would be a Punk 2.0 scenario except not a draw. He's a PR Disaster waiting to happen. It's not gonna be anything cool
>>20625190 >Maclin Is a fucking retard if he thinks Tony's going to give him a significant push, he goes out of his way to bury the ex-TNA guys he hires, shunts them off to ROH, or forces them in the Don Callis faction.
>>20625347 Well they aren't getting Roman since there's no way he took a pay cut and there's no way Tony could match Roman's WWE salary, same with Brock Lesnar
>>20625341 I'd say Latimer since Tony doesn't care about age, he's got an in and it's not like he has any prior bad blood with anyone on the active roster.
>>20626660 Because they're marks. Lesnar and Cena look up to Vince like a father they never had, so they will never do it. Now a lot of the current roster look up to Triple H that way. This is why we'll never get dimes drama in wrestling ever again, after the Punk thing. There are no more semi-big names after the RA era.
>>20628196 >July is considered the peak of summer June AND July actually, it's why TNA's big summer ppv is Slammiversary, but yeah, WCW usually held Bash at The Beach in July, usually at the same arena each year.
