nta but vpn/proxie just changes your IP address, it does nothing else, ip and cookies are on different layers and dont directly effect each other.

imagine the cookie is like a work book, a person is like an ip address and the boss is like the server, regardless on if you hand in the work book to your boss or one of your colleges hands it in for you the boss knows its your workbook since it has identifying shit in there.
the boss marks the workbook with the information required for that site and can read information from the book

for example when I went into setting and selected tomorrow as the style the boss marked that in my workbook and when i load up a page the boss will read the workbook and see my style is set to tomorrow
