marie curie's IQ is speculated to be at 180-200 and that's way beyond the "top 50 million". even an IQ of 140-150 puts you in the 99.9th percentile (at which point it starts becoming statistically unreliable since tests are designed for the average population)
Marilyn vos Savant also has one of the highest IQs in recorded history at 228, and note that the highest speculated IQs, like James Sidis cap out at 250-300, and that's a rough estimate
Overall the profoundly gifted are an extreme that don't reflect on the population and aren't representive of it at all.

I dont think there is any valid test for testing or confirming an IQ of 200 or above. Anything with 200 IQ or above is popular bullshit. I have yet to see a convincing argument that it can be tested. Testing up to 185 IQ is a stretch, but still somewhat plausible. Testing up to 145 IQ is statistically validated.
