THe spiritual tax is real. Its completely invisible. You will feel it when that one person randomly quits your guild out of no where, saying nothing to no one and gives millions of gold and empties out their banks, like quit quits and no one in the guild notices or says anything. At first you dont feel anything.
Then like a week later, its still on your mind, you literally cannot stop thinking about, it's fucking eating away at your shit at this point.

That's just the most immediate example I can think of that happened to me recently but there are so many more spirit and soul sucking things going on or happenings if you will.
