i'm not going to pretend like zoomers are all chuddy (that couldn't be further from the truth) but it was genuinely a bit jarring to hear normgroids saying that shit. i took a 2-year gap after graduating high school and nobody i knew back then was like that.

I dunno if you quite understand how much people hate Israel now bro. Like my old friend from HS met up with me about a year ago and one of the first jokes he does is saying "oy vey" in THAT voice while doing the happy merchant pose. Another guy I knew from a couple months ago at my old job bonded with me by bringing up the USS Liberty and Dancing Israelis. Both of these dudes were right wing (lolbert types not natsoc) and both abruptly decided to bash Israel unprompted. Instagram and TikTok have opened the proverbial Pandora's Box on the great noticing, it's legit over for Israel once boomers die out.
