A few months ago I told a friend that I didn't listen to music, that I wasn't interested. He said that was fine and told me about his musical interests, but recently He's been making fun of that with his other friends.
What's wrong with me not listening to music? It doesn't make me a monster, but he makes it seem that way

I don't listen to music because they evoke to many feelings, specially sad and bad ones so I generally avoid it.

Majority of normies make music their personality. This one obviously does because they talked to you about music after you said you don't listen to it lol. To anyone who likes music whatsoever it is at least a little comical that you don't listen to it at all apparently. But to a normie who connects their music accounts to their dating app profiles and goes to concerts and cannot go a day without listening to music, it is like an offense against them. So that is why they make fun. Not saying it is right. Just giving perspective.
