It's sad. YouTuber I used to enjoy for his presentation of certain interesting topics, nowadays only resorts to politics, and nth video about how AI is over and the industry is collapsing tomorrow, but for real this time trust me bro.

It seems little YouTubers are safe from political crusadification. 2017-2018 YouTube was a golden era where videos where informative but still not hour long video essays about why orange man bad.

Anti Ai seems to be new thing normies have started to culminate around.

>its draining water
>it can't think
>its google search engine
>it can't do anything

But ask them what makes humans creative , thinkers or unique and they'll point to some magic bs or call you anti human. Current AI is nowhere near perfect but internet took decades before we got YouTube and live streaming services

Hating on AI is sign of someone that lacks ability to think beyond themselves

i think LLMs should be banned for the general public and only accessible by those with STEM degrees
amazing technology ruined by subhumans

Entertaining the idea that an LLM is 1% of the way to what people would actually consider an "AI" is a sign that you're stupid enough to be mimic'd by one

Explain why without resorting to "self" is special

What is intelligence?

>What is intelligence?
Im humble enough to admit that I don't fully understand, but smart enough to know that its more than a series of 1's and 0' trying to generate the next token. A 3 year old child, or a dog for that matter, can come up with an original thought that didnt have to be externally loaded into it. Dumping a billion sentences into a bank and averaging them out, or doing the same for a photo, isn't a reduced version of what a living being does, its a completely independent, inferior, version. You, probably not a stemcel, are infatuated with it because you believe the hype of salesmen pushing something you don't understand. LLM's are a useful tool for actual smart people to summarise and organize large sums of information into useable briefs, which massively cuts down busy work and manual computing. It can't think and it can't build anything new and the way you talk about it makes me want to vomit

Anti-AI sentiment right now is so potent that it brings them the big bucks from watch time, so I don't blame them. It does make me lose respect for them though considering they're just joining a bandwagon rather than facing the obvious reality that the government will not let AI fail by any capacity.

If you want to make any serious money out of it then yes, you have to play by whatever the algo deems important, that's why you see the same patterns now everywhere.

At some point it was also going to become obvious that digital ads, the column that kept internet thriving, were based on a lie.
