It didn't used to be produced at industrial scales.

Sugar is fuel. Just about every process in your body needs it to operate. So if you found a source of it in the wild, of course you would be encouraged to consume it. We also have various means of storing that energy in times of surplus for later use in times of famine.
The problem is we live in a time of permanent surplus and famine never comes. So the body pretty much ends up dedicating all of its resources to storing energy it will never use.

Dieting is basically the act of attempting to replicate times of famine through sheer force of will. Unfortunately not a lot of people have that.

Simply you view it like that, but nature doesn't care about the fact that you like it or not, it simply depends by you

Refined sugar is not present naturally.

It doesn't taste "good" it tastes *sweet*
You know what doesn't have a taste? Staples like rice/bread/potatoes.
Humans are not designed to eat starchy grains. We are not ruminants.
We are, however, designed to eat fruit.

Humans have extremely robust digestive systems, we can eat pretty much anything and turn it into energy. This isn’t a problem unless you habitually fail to use the energy. A man about to do 10-12 hours of demanding physical labor could polish off two boxes of oreos for breakfast and be good to go. A man about to sit on his ass in a cubicle for 8 hours, then another 8 hours at home on the sofa might want to have a little more restraint.
