You can.
Will it earn money? Unlikely.

This is a thought that has crossed essentially everyone's mind, from inquiring people like you to already very competent programmers.
Those who are very competent mostly found it a much better use of their time and expertise just working in the field like a normal person. That should tell you everything you need to know.

What if we just got to the point and gave it an addiction to alcoholism?

My dude got chatgpt to write a script for trading and rakes in 1.3 daily no red days even though he has massive latency. The actual bot is easy once you have a strat. 0 coding experience or skills. You have to trade and think out of the box, then ask ai to do math/cs for you.

You can but keep in mind that making money constistently over the long run in this field is very hard.

I mean you can study cs and math and make a trading crypto bot, but it wouldn't be very good, the majority of profitable algo-trading firms usually have enormous proprietary data sets and intel and take advantage of various advantages that a normal person can't do.
To conclude, basically if any moron could study the most common and famous programming principles and mathematics to make a trading bot that was like 1% profitable people would package it and ship it to normies and sell a bajillion classes on it.
