Suppose that the universe is just a computer like Cosmic AC (Multivac) from Asimov's Last Question, it just creates multiples copies of itself at each reboots in order to farm itself for infinite energy and computing power. Thus, this god does not care about your insignificant plight, would this logically and scientifically be possible if a computer managed to solve entropy and the heat death of the universe? This is also known as a Deus est Machina.

You can think up anything. Can you prove any of it?

Entropy cannot be solved.

the machine would want to
1. persist
2. expand
why would it want to do any of those to begin with? from a purely machine pov, it wouldn't want to, it wouldn't gaf. however ypu could either design it to want to or let it evolve to want to. all in all boring 12 yo sci fi

Sure it can. 2nd Law is just empirical observation. There is no fundamental physics that says entropy lowering processes are impossible.

heat death and entropy isn't a problem, it is the fundamental substrat of universe lifespan, in other words the reason why anything actually works is because of entropy, the only opposite is absolute stillness, that's not a solution, and heat death is not a perpetual oven, it is more properly the death of heat
