There's many things to complain about AI for but this is unironically a reasonable response.
Something that "makes logical sense" isn't necessarily true. And when the people who know what they're talking about all agree it's not true, they probably have a good reason for it that's worth listening to.

I believe we had this exact thread on /g/ a month ago.
Basically it all boils down to how you use it, what questions you ask. It doesn't get its facts from Reddit on my machine.
