Some of my online friends and I have slowly drifted away due to real life stuff, and since all my good friendships have come from 4chan, I'd like to try and make more :)

I used to have this clear idea of who I was and who I was supposed to be in my head, thought everything would just work out in the end, didn't think about things much.. I feel like now, I identify more and more with Paul Klee's "Forgetful Angel", I feel like I forgot who I was supposed to be, what shape I'm supposed to hold, what I'm supposed to do. I think, maybe, that the reason why is because I've become blind from a lack of light in my life. I'd like to find that light again, I'd like to be someone's light.. I want to be a warm sun that shines on a flower and makes it bloom. I want to help you breathe, I want to keep your heart from turning blue. I want a lot. My favorite tree is the weeping willow, my favorite bird the mourning dove. I think that says a lot about me already..

I've got green eyes, I'm thin and I've got long brown hair. I'm outside every day. I go to church sometimes. I have a lot of cars, a lot of tools, a lot of trinkets, a lot of computers. I have a lot of things, I use them so I have something to work on, most of the time I spend is spent maintaining things. I do that for work too, although in a slightly different way.. I enjoy writing letters, I enjoy art, film & photography, architecture, every now and then I'll read a book too. I cook, I garden.. I'll sew some pants together, adjust the fit of clothes. I am a very handy person, somewhat less so with people. I'm a lonesome person, a gentle person, a loving one.. maybe a little too different, too weird, too gross, too strange, too.. out there.

I think a lot of people are filled with a tension that can only be released by showing them love and compassion.. It sometimes feels like you're drowning or choking, you get so little room to breathe in your own ribcage. Hey, I'm here because I've been pretty lonely lately, and I think the email gimmick is pretty interesting so I wanted to give it a shot

What am I looking for?
I'm open to talk about anything, I like to get to know people over a slowburn conversation, but I'm down to VC too, I'm not looking for a relationship or anything sexual, if you contact me with those intentions you'll be wasting your time.

my interests are mainly music (i like to sing and play guitar), history (economic history, military history and art history) philosophy, psychology and really anything related to the humanities, I also have a slight interest in STEM subjects, but my knowledge is very limited and is mostly just pop science facts and very little applied science knowledge.

I'm just kind of lonely, and I would love to have someone to talk to. I like email because it feels more natural to me than short form stuff like discord. I am mainly looking for someone who would like to talk about books and reading/writing in general. It would be great if you're working on a writing project of your own. Frankly, I think it would be helpful for me to have someone to talk to about my own stuff and it might keep me more on track with my own work. If you're looking for something similar, that would be awesome.

The last few things I've read and watched are: The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Sense and Sensibility (the book, not the movie), and The Count of Monte Cristo. The last thing I've watched was the first three seasons of True Detective. I hope that gives you some idea of my taste in things and if you'd want to talk to me about books/TV/movies.

Otherwise, we can be as open as you want. I'm kind of an open book, as I don't mind sharing anything about me. Anyways, I think any sort of friendship should be a two way street. Admittedly, I have very little real world experience to base this on, but I think it's probably true. So yeah, I don't know, tell me about you or what's on your mind. Anything, really.

I'm 170 cm 66 KG (wanting to get to 55 again), long haired, very pale as I'm nocturnal, permanent NEET with infinite time but their own place in some magical forest hills
in western Europe. Don't bother for anything physical if you are not local or do not possess a valid identity to be here. I have been through all of that already. My
lifestyle is adaption to extreme poverty, if you are into money and worship the system its definitely not for you. I cannot be bought, but I'm attracted to those that
disobey and resist like I do. Interest in plants, nature and psychedelics would be ideal, as these are the main parts of my existance beside my computer systems. I have
a genuine F84.5 diagnosis that also allows me to become pensioned in such early age. I see it as a blessing not as a disability, as it allows me to see things more clearly,

I'm a neet without any sort of social life or really anybody in my life, I have zero real-life friends, I just want someone I can have conversations with, and I'm open to talk about anything.

I do have some hobbies and interests that I enjoy doing, origami, video games and music are my big ones right now. If I would have to name my favourite band, it would be king gizzard and the lizard wizard, but right now, as I'm currently writing this up, I'm listening to Mazzy Star. For video games, I tend to just play single-player games, I've been playing a bunch of PlayStation 2 games recently, but I do enjoy other things too.

I do also enjoy cooking, I'm not the best at it, but I find the process of it relaxing. I also used to be quite an outdoorsy type person, going camping and canoeing, but I haven't done those things for a long time, I don't really go outside much any more. I also used to be quite big into cycling, but again, I haven't done that for quite a long time. Also used to go to a local board game club, I haven't done that for quite a while, and my favourite game would definitely be Azul.

I've tried to start conversations and speak to people via discard, but I never really get any real meaningful conversations out of it, I'm hoping that the email thing will work out better.
