Bai Yulu versus Michael Holt is a massive example of why women need to get the hell out of mens sports.
Poorest quality snooker I have ever seen.

I was just looking at how his season's been and it's been terrible, he's won two matches that weren't qualifiers, both in the xi'an grand prix, 5-2 against Xintong and 5-4 against Jimmy Robertson (he made 4 centuries!), seems that much like Luca he's given up trying.
>>
>>154162319
I think all snooker players get disheartened at some point. Some come back from the despondency and others don't. Everyone agrees it's a really depressing job to have. The fact that Robert Milkins has been terrible before makes me think that maybe he knows it's not the end of the world if he stops winning, so he's just resigned to fading back into obscurity. It's not an assault on his entire identity if he stops winning. Zhao Xintong probably still doesn't know what it's like to lose constantly, but Robert Milkins knows all about it so he's less afraid of it.
>>
>>154162319
Beating the likes of Allen, Selby, and Morph on the way to a ranking title, a distant memory now. That giant windfall he got from that seemed to really derail him.

>>154162358
Quality post, and yes he must just be looking at the Q tour events at the end of the season. Most of the best amateurs have already won their tour cards at this point, so he i'd wager he fancies himself there. Not the end of the world as you said.

>Along with some of the game’s greatest ever players, Snooker 900 is going down the influencer route, with the upcoming Creator Clash featuring well known content creators Jaack Mate, Pieface, Aaron Hunt and Sara Guzo facing each other.
>Jason Francis (creator of Snooker 900) hopes this kind of venture is what can bring a new, younger audience to the sport.
>'The amount of followers and viewers they have, if we’re trying to say that we’re the new TikTok of snooker, and the fast, exciting, modern way, then we’ve got to try and attract the young people,’ Francis told Metro.
>‘The influencers get partnered with a snooker legend – Dennis Taylor, Reanne Evans, Joe Perry and Tony Knowles – and in the afternoon, we give them the table and the snooker legend to create their own content for their channels. They’ll also get mentoring and coaching from that player and then at 7pm, we do the Creator Clash, so they play each other at Snooker 900.
>‘It’s a massive audience to potentially reach. If I’m going to rebrand myself as the new thing with the new exciting, short, sharp matches, then these are the people that are experts in creating short, sharp, fast content. I don’t know if it’ll be amazing or, or just four people who can’t play snooker. It’ll be a fun, exhibition style event, but the key focus is just to try and bring Snooker 900 to a new audience.’

Surely he's the first world champion to speedrun losing in the qualifiers? Wouldn't be surprised if he retires soon.
>>
>>154232360
He apparently wants to put in the work and git gud again, so I doubt it for now.

Morning lads, how are we?
>All these potential kino matches to start
I don't want any no-names around this year, I want a nice well known final 8.
>>
>>154239440
You're getting Jak Jones in the semis whether you like it or not
>>
>>154239440
Zhao, Zhang, Xiao, Ding, Wu, Si, Pang and Zhou.
"Well known" is a relative term.

>>154239656
Ah, the free "go to the final" card for Ronald. It would be a shame if he broke the tradition and did it without using it for once.
>>
>>154239781
Hopefully rpmmie gets a difficult first round, think he could struggle, especially as that half of the draw is a lot stronger looking (Jodd's in the final already unfortunately)
>>
The draw should start in around 30-60 minutes, right? Why don't they have a stream already prepared on the WST channel, the retards?

>>154239854
>Jodd's in the final already unfortunately
Not on my boy Antoni's watch, he's not.
>>
>>154239440
Don't really mind about the match ups, I just want tough tables again.

>>154239656
And that's a GOOD thing
>>
Selby vs Jak Jones

WEW
>>
Si Jiahui v Hossein Vafaei
Ronnie O'Sullivan v He Guoqiang
Wu Yize v Lei Peifan
Mark Selby v Jak Jones
Mark Allen v Zhang Anda
Ding Junhui v Dave Gilbert
Mark Williams v Antoni Kowalski
Zhao Xintong v Liam Highfield
Judd Trump v Gary Wilson
Chris Wakelin v Liam Pullen
Kyren Wilson v Stan Moody
Barry Hawkins v Matthew Stevens

They didn't even stream it. I swear, the sum of IQ at WST must be one digit.

>Selby vs Jak Jones
It might take them the 2 weeks just to finish this first round. And that's a GOOD thing.

>>154240068
>They didn't even stream it
It was on the iPlayer over here. Mr. Rob kept saying "champion du monde" instead of "world champion". Neyul is in the studio and was the very last seed drawn out. Reasonably entertaining.
>>
>>154240083
>>154240084
Wouldn't it be nice THOUGH if people around the World could watch the draw for the World Championship? Just a thought.
And to make snooker more popular they'll start making tiktok videos.

The duality of young Chinese poster.
They call farmers "potatoes"?

>Zhao Gongzi will directly touch the director next round.
Foul, Ding Junhui, 4.

>I have never heard of this man
My thoughts on at least three (would be four if I wasn't Polish) of these players.

>do not overturn the boat in the gutter
A wise Chinese proverb.

>Scarlett to Waffy
