FIFA U-20 World Cup or UEFA European Under-21 Championship?
Or maybe you consider the Olympics to be better?
i need your opinions and thoughts, /sp/

U20 World Cup, I‘d say. It’s more likely to have talents of global scale, and the non-European areas are more competitive here than in the senior ranks
U21 (more like U23) tends to be mostly players not fully ready for the senior national teams yet, you rarely see the big stars there. An U20 World Cup is a bit more stacked in that regard in my opinion.
The opposite of that is something like the U17 World Cup: you‘ve got basically all the important talents there, but no one knows who will actually make it. It bears almost no relevance because most players will disappear. The U20 World Cup kind of sits between both extremes and therefore is in the Goldilocks zone, but its relevancy also remains frighteningly limited
The Olympics are the most irrelevant to me because they take place after the Euros and are basically a sloppy seconds no one in Europe really plans for. They have similar issues as the U21 Euros, but in even less dedicated. Also, for me personally, a frustration bonus applies - the Olympic tournament should be more relevant, ideally. But it isn’t

I took a quick glance at the 2015 tournament where we won against Portugal. I can't say there were any big talents on the Swedish side. The Portugese on the other hand had these four (pic rel)
But only Bernardo became this notorious great great player.
I dunno though, I can't judge.
