Could you please also consider Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS)?
It bothers me that MLS isn't being considered.

Imagine believing Minnesota Sports actually exist and isn't a Glowie Psyop to keep other actual Midwest teams miserable and to force Coast teams into the deeper rounds.
PROVE ME WRONG!

Yeah okay. Let's just pretend a team named Duluth actually exists and isn't actually in a different state.
Have you considered no one actually cares about NCAA Hockey enough to check if these teams even exist.
A team named the Quinnipiac Bobcats won the Hockey Championship... IN 2023! You expect me to believe these aren't AI generated names! Denver is there Alabama! What is this fake shit!

as someone that doesn't watch NBA I somehow constantly forget the timberwolves exist and keep thinking the mavericks are the minnesota team, no I don't know why, so I was about to say "what about the mavs they won in like 2011 didn't they"

Minnesota's a tough sell for Southerners and Coasties. Mix of Social Liberalism with Ballchilling Cold and endless rural nature with a fairly developed urban region. It appeals to a lot of people, just a liberal player who likes cities is gonna prefer NY or LA or SF, a more conservative player who likes nature would prefer a team in a more temperate and conservative climate like Atlanta or Indianapolis or Memphis
So in a free agent market you're looking for socially liberal guys who like snowy days, hikes and hunting. And they'd definitely prefer Seattle
