Possibly the greatest non-league game of all time will happen at lunchtime tomorrow.

York City top the National League, the 5th tier, on 107 points. They visit second place Rochdale on 105 points.

Whoever wins, wins the National League, and is automatically promoted to the EFL League Two. Whoever loses faces the crushing lottery of the National League playoffs, against sides with potentially about 29 less points over the season.

It's going to be absolutely gripping, you should watch it instead of Fulham v Villa.

Yes please.

I did tell a small lie. The greatest non-league game of all time has already happened, it was Wrexham 4-5 Grimsby Town in the 2021/22 NL playoff semis

Curzon Ashton have pulled it back to 3-2 from 3-0 down, but Hereford just equalised to escape relegation for now. All Curzon would've needed was an equaliser if Hereford hadn't scored
>>
Maidstone have equalised at Bath, but they need a winner and a Hornchurch goal to sneak into the playoffs
>>
Worthing promoted to the National League, Ebbsfleet are begging for Maidenhead or Weston-super-Mare to concede now

HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK ROCHDALE SCORED

Fylde promoted to the National League

Maidstone have scored a last minute winner. Weston-super-Mare has secured the playoff spot. Maidenhead has drawn Hornchurch and thus made it to the playoffs.

Curzon Ashton have made it 3-3 against Alfreton, if they score or Hereford concedes, they will survive at Hereford's expense

This is going to do wonders for the 3up campaign. York’s a lovely place and it’s quite an important city too, so I guess I’m glad they’re going up, but the idea that Rochdale might not really is obscene.
