Some early protips:
Switzerland have a piss easy group and cheap options across all positions. Embolo wasn't allowed to fly to the US with the rest of the squad and it is not known if and when this will be resolved.
Turkey was in top form in the qualifiers, has a relatively easy group and also has some nice budget options.
Germany's first game is against Curacao and they usually show no mercy against joke teams.
Norway was unstoppable in the qualifiers. Haaland is the obvious option but the midfield and defense can also be a good source of points (Nusa, Odegaard, Ryerson, Wolfe).
Spain's first two games are easy but Yamal may be out. Whoever replaces him could be a great pick (Olmo or Pino).
Portugal and Colombia have two piss easy first games before facing each other in matchday 3.

a good shout is someone like Sabitzer and Leimer against Jordan, could be 4 or 5 goals for Austria in that game, but Austria face Argentina next round. I think a very good Forward bargain is Jordan Ayew vs Panama, 5,5Milion for him and you can have him just for the first round, Panama are on the level of Curacao, Qatar, Jordan etc..

This reminds me, i played WC Fantasy on a Swedish betting site in 2022, it was super fun, entry price was like 50 kronor and i finished top 100 or top 50 and won 1500 kronor.
Is there any betting site that has Fantasy this year? I was looking forward to that

Idk we got a new manager who knows the league and the players much better than herve renard so I think we can finish 3rd realistically we will be much more defensive and for players the only ones I like is tambakti and al hamdan if he starts good striker
>>154997473
I think he will score the first game and his ego will double the next matches then flop that’s why I’ll bench him later on

I was gonna have Valverde in my pick since lets face it you ar not one of the better NTs, atleast judging by what ive seen from Asian qualifying but idk i have heard people talk about disharmony in the Uru-goy-ay squad or something, maybe thats not true but i got cold feet on Valverde. And maybe the qualifying was i dip in form for Saudi and they will regain a better level. Redpill me on this btw, should Saudi have a level thats clearly better than Qatar, Jordania and Iraq?
One possible budget point-scoring midfielder i found was Sulc from Czechia, one of the 2 clear offensive stars in that team and he scored 13 or something in Ligue 1 for Lyon, and i dont think any team in that group A are super good in defence.

>should Saudi have a level thats clearly better than Qatar, Jordania and Iraq?
definitely better than iraq and jordan, but qatar idk because their whole squad is filled with brazilians and latix players, and they’re still kinda shit
I heard the same about urgay, but it’s the world cup. every player will give 100% unless they ignore the coach’s tactics and flop
in the asian qualifiers we played like shit because of herve renard and some of the players that were chosen. we did well against japan, iraq but that was about it.
it all comes down to georgios donis and the players he chooses. other than that, i think we’ll do well and finish second or third
Look into jae-sung lee, tabakovic, pedro vite

I asked chat-GPT and it said Munoz was the most offensively dangerous Colombian Defender and i think Colombia are solid are facing 2 teams in the 2 first games that not really on their level and also defensively minded..
>>155001271
Yes, i was 50/50 on those 2. I might switch out Alvarez too since Algeria seems like a solid team and that game will probably be 1-0 Argentina. Idk who to pick, maybe Patrick Schick. Maybe i will just throw in Jordan Ayew.

Budget is a very crucial thing in fantasy football. Can't just get the biggest star in every position, you need to compromise and think what brings the most points.
Fifa has this swapping of players mid-round, and while I wouldn't want it on FPL, it was kind of a cool curiosity last time around. Don't mind it though wouldn't miss it either.

Okay, when I tried to sign up the text disappeared from the sign up button once I clicked it having filled out all fields, and after a few minutes it still hasn't done anything, so I guess I won't be signing up.
However, I knew this shit would happen because no well-funded organization ever hires remotely competent webdevs, so I took a screenshot.
I present to you all my fantasy team, the Constantinople Crescents.
Regrettably, Chukwuemeka had to be cut at the last minute to make room for Sarr. Rest easy, legend.

De Cuyper is a nailed-on starter, goalscoring defender and takes care of his fair share of set pieces. Very attackminded and can be moved up a line, to wingback for Belgium and winger for Brighton (used as fullback during his 3 assists near the end of the season). Great value. Meunier had a good season but is old and doesn't have the energy to keep bombing forward. More likely of the two to get subbed.
Debast is expected back for the game against New Zealand. Tends to score blooters. Theate probably plays as he seems in form but might be rested if it's a dead rubber. Mechele is Theate's replacement as sr. defender.

Isn't half their squad injured or returning from injury. Pretty bipolar team. Might not show up but if they do...
