How the fuck do Callidus Assassin work? Like I know shit but how do they actually work? So what I can remember.
1. Trained from a young age (though thanks to the Scion fluff it's really fucking vague, like how long do you kill your classmates at school before you go to further training somewhere else?) to be able to take Polymorphine and has to learn to bend and break their bones to reshape themselves. Painful and 99% of them are women because polymorphine works better on them.
2. Can become any humanoid and gender. Including Orks etc.
3. Assassins spray their bodysuit on which protects them and shit and (old fluff) requires a special substance to remove the bodysuit.
But this doesn't really answer some questions;
1. So an assassin turns themselves into somebody else... How does this actually work? Do they spray on their bodysuit, change into whatever THEN put on clothes? Or do they have to be naked, change shape, then put on clothes? (I swore there was a very old comic that showed when they remove the disguise of the bodymorph they're left in their bodysuit but this makes no sense, since why would, lets say, a Planetary Governor be wearing a bodysuit? Can they make it invisible and look like skin?). Or do they 'project' the clothes/armor onto themselves using tech and in reality all there is is their bodysuit?
2. Can they change into smaller things like Ratlings or Squats? Are Ogryns too big? Etc. If they change into the weirder abhumans (and there are actual shapeshifting abhumans in the setting so) do they get their abilities?
3. I assume they keep their fighting abilities when changed but lets say you turned into a kid or old guy, do you still get to move like you were a trained adult at the peak of human performance?
Or is this really 'don't think about it'. I don't think it has even been explained like how the process actually works, fully.

I think teh Callidus was teh first female mini with that kind of hair, it's probably something they could cast back then, and that looked dynamic and cool.
The first assassin minis are almost 30 years old, things were pretty low tech back then.
