Thread #97901684
Stupid question here, but...How do you tell a fellow player to be less of a terrible person?
There's a female player in the group who, I dunno how to say this, seems to deliberately have the worst fucking taste in men. While she never sides against the party, she seems to consistently pick men who are just sort of bad or inconvenient people to hook up with:
>Corrupt priest
>Asshole knight's dickhead uncle
>A tiefling PC's father (a human who hates his half-devil son)
>A gambler and obvious cad she bailed out a few times because it amuses her
It's like, none of this is hurting the group, but it's really getting some of the party down.
Am I being too sensitive here? I dunno it just feels really depressing when she goes like "Yeah I think I'll start banging Cardinal McGreasy or this noble who is probably a Rakasha, just because they're smooth."

He thinks his wife fucked a devil, which is why his son is a tiefling. But actually his wife was infertile, so she made an infernal pact to overcome it. Her son was tainted by the pact, and is hence a tiefling.

>It's not his wife's fault
Objectively speaking she is the only person in this situation who had any say in the matter so the accountability falls upon her for making the deal.
The father was clearly deceived and the son bears no fault but that doesn't detract from the fact that to the best of the Father's knoweldge that the Tiefling isn't his kid.

>woman
>repeatedly chooses the detrimental fantasy
it's realistic bait, at least.
If it is really bothering you, then you should sit down with your players and discuss this. If it's making you uncomfortable beyond the bounds of the game, then ask the problem player to tone down the offending issue or alter their behavior.
If anything, this woman is showing you that her fantasy is to be exploited by charismatic but evil men. Whst you do with that information moving forward is up to you

Wouldn't that arrangement still make the Tiefling his kid though?
>Father: Fertile
>Mother: Infertile.
>Devil: Provides aid to Mother to overcome inferility.
If the kid isn't anyone's, wouldn't it technically not be the mother's?

Socially, bastards can belong to the father of the household, if he chooses to legitimize them, which is obviously not the case here.
Biologically the way that makes most sense would be if Devil didn't properly heal woman's ability to produce eggs, but put in her a limited supply of fiendish eggs, one of which got fertilized by the father, that way father would be a biological father, devil would be a biological mother and mother would be just a surrogate womb where the child grew. Which would explain the child's fiendish heritage on biological level and overall make the whole affair, if I can say so myself, delightfully devilish.

Don't tell them, show them. Everything they do with their character, you do the same or worse,
They try to seduce the villian, so do you.
They steal something, you steal something.
They do random acts of cruelty, so do you.
Ape their every action. When they finally get pissed off with being upstaged (and no longer being edgy and unique) and call you out on your shitty behaviour, just explain you are only doing what they have been doing all along.
Even better, if you can do it in a funny way, it can show how rediculous their behaviour is.

she sounds fun
are you sure you're not assuming weird things when she's being funny on purpose? some people have a hard time taking jokes as literal statements around here.
If she's being disruptive about this, for example her gag romance takes ages and no one else is participating so it's all solo scenes; you can do the same thing you'd do with any other player: state your issues in a general and clear way.
>This scene is not really adding anything, maybe you and DM could leave it for after the game so we get to play
>You're being a bit overbearing, I'd like to resolve my fuckhead dad backstory instead of waiting for him to fuck your head.
>If you're gonna shag a priest make it relevant to the story, use it to get info or something so things move forward
>Stop bailing an NPC if you're gonna ask us for money later because we're using it to do group stuff
But, again, are you sure she's not doing this because she thinks it's funny to play a slut? It's just like people playing a retard or a violent asshole, it's only an issue if they're stopping the game.

A blackpill demoralisation thread, in my /tg/? More likely than you would think!

>If you're gonna shag a priest make it relevant to the story, use it to get info or something so things move forward
In the one in a billion chance that this is an actual game, this is the only thing you can say that will make a difference and get your problem player and the DM to stop and think about what they're doing. We're all adults with a limited amount of time to spend playing games and point out that they're wasting that on something with no real payoff usually puts things into perspective for people.
Romancing NPCs is like shopping in session - fun the first time you do it, but something that you quickly realise is a waste of time for everyone at the table unless you're all getting something out of it.

Honestly they've all been plot-related so far:
>You're being a bit overbearing, I'd like to resolve my fuckhead dad backstory instead of waiting for him to fuck your head.
The tiefling guy is sort of waiting for his dad to approach him. The PC didn't actually speak with him before the gala.
>If you're gonna shag a priest make it relevant to the story, use it to get info or something so things move forward
The corrupt priest gave us some jobs for a bit and gave us a clue on how to find this magic banner, but I think fucking him is definitely a step too far, it's supposed to be 'reluctantly working with him'.

A literal cuck to BDC

Demons/Devils/Succubi dont give birth, its always a chad devil father. That also applies when you did impregnate your wife and your grandfathers fuckery from decades ago makes the kid a tiefling, just means you got cucked through space and time.

not more than your child being whatever it becomes, you're yourself. If you put effort preparing your child and they fuck up maybe you did things wrong, but if they're born a demon that's the hand you got dealt. At least your know they'll be a popular player character.

"don't split the party" is nonsense. when somebody starts doing stupid attention whoring shit like this i just split off and do something else. like, i'm not going to sit and wait for you to finish jerking yourself off at the table like little forrest gump sitting on the porch listening to his mom get railed. if the gm is going to allow time-wasting teenage idiot rp then they can deal with a split party because i want to find treasure and slay evil and shit.

OP, you're beginning to realize what happens as the PCs get more powerful. None of this shit 'matters' in that all of these figures are not actually important to your campaign and are so pathetically underpowered they can't really affect the party in any way.
So unless she gets knocked up or something, she's perfectly free to toy with them as she likes.

>Hmm yes today I will indulge in my fetish for unhealthy and exploitative relationships by making my PC only date terrible, harmful men.
>In doing so, I will give my PC flaws and failings of her own personhood, making her a more well-rounded character.
>Additionally, I also give the DM current story hooks in which my character, and therefore to an extent the party, can be motivated to action or made to feel something.
Your female player is based, and you need to start accepting angst in your tabletop.

>women ruin everything by being whores
Many such cases! Your first mistake was playing with a woman.
>>
>>
OP, are you on the spectrum by any chance? Have you considered the reason that this woman is constantly flirting with and roleplaying sexual encounters with handsome scumbags RPd by the DM is because she just thinks your DM is hot?
The common denominator for all these characters is that they're NPCs played by the same DM. If you're tired of her and the DM basically softcore ERPing at the table (from the sound of it they're not actually roleplaying the sex just fade to black or off-screening it) telling the two of them to get a room is far likelier to get them to stop than trying to somehow shame her character's in-game actions as immoral. Trying to tell a woman to stop getting off to attractive older men in positions of power with dubious morals is a lost fucking cause, just be thankful none of them are vampires yet.

>Demons/Devils/Succubi dont give birth
yes they do, that's literally how alu-fiends are made, when a human gigachad successfully impregnates a succubus mother. You need to survive their draining touch and kiss long enough to actually cum inside them but that's what immunity to negative energy is for.
They've been around since 1e, this isn't anything new. What, do you think Blackguards weren't fucking their succubus underlings?
