Dark Sun elves. They are kinda cool for being nomadic runner elves, but their abilities just suck. A bonus to bows and longswords BUT ONLY IF FASHIONED BY THEIR OWN TRIBE, very restrictive. A surprise bonus only in the appropriate terrain. Also, - 2 CON and - 1 WIS, but that's just Dark Sun being more trigger happy with maluses.

What's actually usable is a human culture getting conquered by elves that largely replaces the native aristocracy and rules for so long that all the imported customs and identity of the elves is seen as stereotypical for the humans, the language has morphed into a hybrid of the old human and new elven and proper behavior for the humans is based of elven customs with the actual human customs being seen as backwards and provincial.

This is a cute OC couple I've seen posted a few times, while I like the art I wish the creator made the Eldar a Corsair or Harlequin or even Ynnari Commorite instead of a Banshee (an Exarch at that) to make it more plausible. I get it's fun non-canon fanart, a Biel Tan and Tallarn refrence and this in general is extremely unlikely in lore either way,but the 'tism strikes me, a different choice of Eldar would have made this OC much better.
Also like the idea of a weird Eldar taking the initiative and pursuing the human, who's not on board at first and shy & uncomoftrable about it, but warms up like a reverse Yrliet (but with some physical contact). That's how I'd hope to see a Eldar x Human pairing, maybe if someone made a corsair RPG, that could be an option.

The end result of that process was a race of space elves, the Eldar. So to say that a bunch of people who have heavily modified themselves are still 'human' and not 'space elves' is kind of funny.

The Abh are alien enough to other people they have to remind themselves and others with a title like 'Humankind Empire of Abh'. We don't go around inviting people into our Humankind Household, fellow human. Unless we're Mork and Mindy.

At what point did the mysterious origin clay that eventually became the Eldar become the Eldar? What bounds do the Abh have to cross to make it so.
