40K has already done a Scientology-pastiche before. Dark Heresy 1e has a small adventure about them; the Joyous Choir. They do the similar thing of measuring your thetans or whatever with a bogus tool - they're actually scanning for anyone who's a psyker. The cult itself is a front for a criminal organisation that makes a drug out of processed psyker brains. The book is called Purge the Unclean, it's the first adventure, "Rejoice For You Are True".
