At my prelease last week, I took advantage of my opponents incompetence a few times and I'm wondering your thoughts. I attacked with everything and pumped one of my creatures, my opponent played a bunch of spells and none of my damage went through. But at the end of combat, my opponent said I pass the turn, I didn't correct him and proceeded to untap and draw. I won easily. Another game my opponent was keeping track of both life totals on his phone, I was using just a D20 for myself. I was at 7 and he had me at 11, because he failed to remember to count the last 4 damage last turn. I took 6 when I noticed the discrepancy and the turned my D20 to 5. I then swung for lethal with my unblockable snooping page and won. Had that 4 damage been counted the game would have been a draw. Also had an opponent use a 39 card deck because he failed to shuffle in a card. I felt that I could of pressed and claimed an illegal deck, but I didn't.

Is it important to point out your opponents mistakes? Or do you just let them mess up to your own benefit? I got a nice amount of packs at the end, so it seemed worth it to me.

I do run cavern, it's a tribal deck, but they usually have demolition fields lubed up; 2-for-1s don't happen because they can choose what to counter and what to let through (and then destroy), I guess I should aim for even more ETBs? I think my main issue is that the onus of playing perfectly is on me rather than them, they play with full information every turn (they don't play cards on their turn) so they can always make the correct decision
