Once you give him some heat treatment so that the face and hair are properly connected, he is a huge improvement over the original. The face is a bit derpy, but it's not horrifically ugly like the original. Shame about the cigarette getting left out for this release, but at least there were other ways to get a replacement for both the ciggy and the exclusive silenced SOCOM.

Question for Kaiyodo vets. So, The Boss and Big Boss seemed to be listed everywhere as the pre-order with the exclusive face at like 13k yen. However, stuff like the Symbiote Spidey and Cable have two listings, one with the face one standard and the standard is much cheaper. I don't care about the bonus Boss face, so why is there no default listing anywhere for her? Will she be available later without the face for a lower price or is this the only chance to get her?

It's not terrible (I actually like the sculpt a lot, more than the Revo Naked Snake's) but for what was a pretty basic/conservative update of an old figure it could have been far better. It's not like the accessories are anything to write home about either. Middling execution of subpar effort isn't exciting when you're dealing with import prices.

I'm sure he would have, especially if they can keep the articulation as good as always in spite of the big pants. Puri feels like a character you bring in well into the line, basically because most others were already done, or for a reason, like if they were releasing DSK. A hairy bare chested version might even be more interesting, and with the soft goods precedent set by Genos, maybe that sweater that was knitted for him (though all this would probably make him pretty pricey). Then Bang, who's a bit of a boring/derivative design of Garou, especially with them both coming with very similar accessories. They both were quite cheap, relatively, at least. And we're getting Boros who didn't show up at the last show which was a bit scary, so I'm happy about that. With him being the last of what we know of, so hopefully we can get some more teases soon at the next show. If we don't, things probably aren't looking so good.

Probably lightning effects (a la Thor or Deku), and since they're probably not gonna reflect the pink aura, must as well make the lightning effects a blue/pink combo. Though, we're already seeing the chest eye lightning, so being all blue, so they'd probably just stick with that. Would be nice to see the pink reflected somewhere though (unless they intend to make Meteoric Burst, then by all means wait until then). The OPM figures haven't been too pricey, so I'd assume Boros caps out at no more than 10k, so his number of accessories would likely reflect that. Otherwise just needs a few faceplates, and movable main and chest eye, and if they're feeling funny, can give him his globe from the cover, maybe as the store exclusive. Not sure what else you could give him outside of another expression. If they feel like doing Saitama DLC an "ok" face would be amusing.

Just got Juri. She's my first Revo. She looks great and feels great. Lower half is a little floopy, is this normal for Revos? Can't rotate her thigh swivels either, they feel really stuck and I'm not risking breaking them. I'm assuming some warm water will help that out some. Lastly, her knees in the photos look like they have more articulation than I can achieve. There's like an extra piece that's meant to slide out, but again not forcing it because I don't want to break it. Other than that, she's great and super pose able. I mainly collect Storm and her Storm figure looks great, doesn't pose quite as nice as the Revo.

Beyond was too much of a who? to the main Japanese and Chinese customers so Yamaguchi made it Iron Man because that was proven to be successful in many forms (except when Bandai did that Venom Wolverine armor). That was me and I was proven wrong. The Reissue Deathstroke had new 6mm double joints, Geo joint version of them. So did Stitch and Sally I believe, haven't double checked they're in boxes somewhere. So far those are the only ones with that joint

Kaiyodo stopped being stingy about making new joints compared to the past. Every third Revoltech seems to have some new joint mostly for the knees or elbows. Back then they refused to ditch the Revolver joints, had one update in ratchet numbers, and only until it was necessary for the Revol Mini they made new joints. Mainly because they planned to kill off Revoltechs for good. When AY started they only add one new 6mm double joint with stronger ratchets. It was only when REVO GEO failed using revolver joints they made new joints and it didn't really helped RG stay alive kek. Did wonders for all other Revoltechs though.

So I was surprised they made one new joint for 2 reissues.

Beyond actually looks like a great release with no major negatives. Decent accessories, a good lineup of included heads, minimal stylization, an exclusive that isn't absolute bullshit. I am impressed.
