I...guess I can live with Slash using the Dinobot mold - it's a decent enough one, and she'd certainly fit the role as BW Grimlock's little sister. My question, however, is what color she'll be - I doubt they'd go with the G1 Dinobots colors of grey/red/black/gold. Maybe she'll be the same teal as her AOE toy? Or they can go with the baby blue and silver version from her TLK rerelease, I guess?
>>
>>11762034
Did they mention Tailgate yet? He's the only minibot missing at this point.
>>
>>11762044
my thinking was she'd be sort of another crack at BW Grimlock, inasmuch as he was KIND OF G1 colors.
This one would be more gunmetal, black, and red emphasis. But maybe not. I wouldn't mind a red raptor, that's for sure. Wouldn't mind teal either. Just as long as they keep the color separation intact. i hate when a recolor (or an old beast mold in general) is like 'eh it's okay if the thighs don't match the rest of the animal, so the robot can have its own thigh colors'
they fuckin did that with Dilophocon and it took me a LOT of work to paint it back to normal

Also wouldn't mind if they added some feather parts just to make it more interesting, even though they'd have to partsform. And also it'd be kinda funny for the FEMALE to have that but whatever.
>>
I suppose one could argue that POTP Slash scales better with the SS Dinobots than the POTP Dinobots since raptors are human sized
>>
>>11762034
>>
>>11762047
raptors come in basically every size, from chicken to uhh 'nile crocodile on stilts'
>>

>>

exactly.
>>
I just hope they do more to make her look female than just a headswap.
but they won't.
>>
>>11762066
pretty hard to imagine. in fairness, her original toy isn't very feminine looking either. big shoulders, narrow hips.
personally I'd be happier if something happened like... the rapier is replaced with a falchion...
>>
>>11762068
You know, if we get a Voyager Slash, I would be glad to still see a Leader Skarr. Would be clever in how to make a larger ankylosaurus Transformer work. A seven-man team of Dinobots is a much better sight than the classic five or six, after all.

Also, someone have been thinking that Collapse... might be a trademark-free Landquake, but how can Landquake be trademarked by a different company?
>>
>Skyfire is RID
Damn I got excited for beast machines for a second there before I remembered skyfire isn't Stormjet. Well at lest that terrible tow-line can finally get his rival. OH WAIT, they can retool him into the cyberjets and we can finally get a new motherfucking HOOLIGAN!
>>
>>11761972
I think it'd be like this:
>Scrapper - Scoop
>Mixmaster - Quickmix
>Scavenger - Grimlock
>Bonecrusher - Wedge
>Hook and Long Haul 2pk - Hightower and Landfill/Heavy Load (probably depends on if the combined mode is named Landfill)
>>
>>11762080
There's a ton of potential with a flip-changer-ish jet. You could also get the Machine Wars planes and maybe even some of the Predators with some heavier retooling.
>>
>>11762046
I love the way you painted that - with the proper color separation, it's much more apparent that all the red bits that get exposed in robot mode are supposed to be muscle. Really brings back those old Beast Wars vibes.

>>

Meh, RID Landfill's charm to me is the scrable city style gimmick and the derpy combined mode. Making one out of a straight up repaint of Devastator doesn't really work for me.

Fucking finally. Along with RID Skyfire, here's hoping that Hasbro will finally give the G2 era more love. Bring on new Cyberjets, Laser Rods and Rotor Force, please.

>>11762105
I have Road Rocket, Leadfoot, and few others but yeah I want more G2 dudes. Road Rocket you can use the bars to emulate the laser rod gimmick but there's no gyro element with Leadfoot sadly
>>
>>11762117
I mean Road Pig for the laser bars, not Road Rocket, whoops.
>>
>>11762073
I would also love to see organic Scorn. or G1 Scorn for that matter.
>>11762092
thank you. yeah, one thing we can say about Dilophocon is the designer GOT the old beast wars aesthetic. she's (I mean I'm calling this OC a guy, but whatever) very Guyver. And her transformation is basically that of Iguanus, other than the legs, so she FEELS classic.
I only wish I was good enough at stenciling to add more of the 'cilantro' in the darker green, but meh.
>>
>>11762109
It hasn’t been revealed, though I suspect the green one since that’s the more “iconic” one, though ironically it wasn’t released in Japan (Megastorm doesn’t count) but the purple one was
>>
>>11762117
I'm still annoyed we haven't gotten new Cyberjets when the Maverick mold is RIGHT THERE. It's transformation is almost identical to the old Cyberjets too.
>>
>>11762109
Green one is the more iconic and well known one. They'll probably do the purple one as an exclusive.

I hope so.

holy fuck YES
A new fancy boot for my SS86 Devastator!!!
>>
>>11762037
I wonder if we'll get another Maximal after Ratrap's MP, or maybe another Predacon since we're sorely lacking. Tarantulas would be a good way to go since they have the basic tooling from Blackarachnia.
>>
>>11762145
Call me when we get a Landfill
No not the RiD combiner, the OLD one
Yes, the dump truck
>>
>>11762148
tarantulas is an easy MP because he has almost no cheating. If they let go of the 'the crotch eyes are slightly different from the beast mode eyes!' thing, they could make it even easier. BA's tooling will be completely unnecessary, he'll just transform like the recent toy give or take.
Personally I want to see a version of these two where the robot mode pincer hands become the pedipalps and chelicerae, by hinging the thumb off to the side. That's clearly what the original toy was going for.

>when we will have another slash it will be "just another raptor".
I want to armybuild a bunch of different Slashes so I can have a whole pack, like what was originally planned for AOE; maybe I could name them after the Raptoricons, since we're never getting official toys of them ever.

while it's true demand wasn't there they were stupid and put him in 3 waves. He started in wave 8 DLX to then be packaged again in 9 and 11 for then there to be "retail waves" that had him, Waspinator, Arcee, Chromia, Jhiaxus, and Mini-ConTeam.

This happens from time to time but usually it's a Cosmos or T30 Waspinatior situation where they don't predict demand right and over glut the market to meet demand. Scoop was never hard to get.

I hope she's more of a pretool for the inevitable TFA Starscream figure, like at least change the waist and thighs a little bit. I want transformers...
i'm addicted to transformers.
I love how they look. how almost most of them have these giant fat robo-legs with lots of stuff inside that you unfold later to build a vehicle/dinosaur.
It's so cool.

I suspect that one reason that they are moving away from the citybots for Titan class is they don't want to make the little figures that compliment them any longer. You need Core class and smaller to really enjoy the old Titans.
>>
>>11762262
A new Fortress Maximus would need to include a Cerebros Titanmaster anyways, that's all it needs. They can rerelease the Siege Cog separately.
>>
>>11762254
ain't no way. they wouldn't choose some random nobody with a near-identical transformation to maverick only to inexplicably use the seeker mold

While has hasn't been on Transformers in a while, Lenny is leaving Hasbro. Any toys the man had a hand in that you love?
https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Lenny_Panzica

I'd say of that list, Volvo Optimus would have to be my favorite.
>>
>>11762196
How are Cyberwold doing in general? Do children like them? I stopped being a person a while ago, so I have no frame of reference.
>>
>>11762274
It's popular yeah - cyberworld has
1) fun cartoon (it sort of reminds me of 90s Reboot even - sometimes i watch it when i drink coffee)
2) fun toys that liked by kids and adults (that insect, scorponok Elita and Grimlock being bought by adults as well)
>>
>>11762270
Optimus Primal maybe? His list of projects seems to include a lot of things that went wrong.

>The surname Panzica is of Italian origin, specifically from Sicily. It is derived from the Sicilian word "panza," meaning "belly" or "paunch," and is often considered a nickname turned surname for someone who was stout or had a prominent belly.
What a horrible family name. His ancestors should have changed it when they came to America.
>>

I’d probably have to say Prime Predaking, T30 Windblade, Kingdom Tigatron, and Legacy Laser Prime. They’re all pretty solid toys

>>
>>11762287
5eur is still super cheap transformers-wise.
I'd say it's the cheapest "best transformer" i ever seen in my entire life.

Usually you can count "good cheap transformer" to go for at least 11 eur (it was like that when core class existed and they went on sale sometimes)
5 eur is "piss cheap" by transformers toys in europe-standarts.

Last time i saw something like that crazy was Earthrise Jetfire going for 35 eur

I wouldn't expect a new Abominus for another 3 or 4 years at least. There's no G1 combiner next year apparently, then it will be Defensor since they're doing them in order for the most part. Then probably Predaking, and then maybe Abominus. The POTP version is probably the best of that generation of combiners, so there's that.

Also Lugnut's transformation is not massively complicated, so there's a chance he'll be a simple but effective and BIG proper Leader like the SS86 Dinobots, which would be fine in my book. And to be fair on the OG toy, he's actually pretty bulky, it's just he's got very stumpy legs.

Okay, with the last one and a half Prime (the true Nexus Prime not appearing until next year FTFY) finally released, everyone showcase your complete Thirteen Primes. You can choose your Thirteenth too, by the way.

RID bots get zero effort, remember Tow-Line?
>>

It was such a weird choice to me that they started with the Junkions' designs and retooled them instead of starting with the known characters and reverse engineering them into Junkions
>>
Give it to me straight bros, is there any hope for my girl?
>>
>>11762691
I don't think she is going to be top 30 for comic designs unless there is someone that is an easy partial.

I was going to say her proportions might be impossible for a bike transformation but then I remembered Oil Slick exists
>>

>nooooo you can't link to any of the other seventeen threads in the catalog
>>11762637
No I should catch up, I never dropped it out of a lack of enthusiasm, it's just that having forgot about the monthly release schedule too often, I figured I'd read a chunk of it in one sitting at some point, and that day never came
>>
>>11762309
Than it's almost certain the Gen selects fugure reissued
>>
>>11762701
It could also be a new mold to match Legacy Laser Prime
>>
>>11762696
Animated designs will never be topped
>>
>>11762709
I don't even like animated and I need Oil Slick

all the more reason to use a mold that already has a similar layout

He means the Retro Tranformers like Outback and Wheelie there in the pic >>11762336

Can’t wait for the inevitable disappointment when a Voyager Oil Slick listing is leaked and it’s this guy instead
>>
>>11762719
But isn't that mold bad?. I don't have it but I heard it's pretty lousy
>>
>>11762722
Anon the new versions of older toys are so rarely good, in those cases I'd always much rather tank Ebay prices for a good toy than slightly less for a bad reinterpretation
>>
>>11762719
I get why they would use this mold but I always felt that the Deluxe Jets should be Deluxes instead so they scale closer to their appearance in BWII
>>11762725
I was moreso referring to the fandom's reaction to finding an Oil Slick listing and inevitably getting less hype if it was G1 Oil Slick instead
>>
>>11762730
>I always felt that the Deluxe Jets should be Deluxes
the leaked listing says he's a voyager
>>
>>11762700
Yes. Get with the times old man.
>>
>>11762731
I know, it feels weird to make them the same size class as Megastorm/G2 Megatron
>>
>>11762722
>Based on two different "Ratchet but Green" toys, at least one of which was a reference to the live-action one.
Huh. Would it be 86 Ratchet with a new head and deco?
>>
>>11762722
That’s fine with me.
Evil Decepticon versions of Autobots is what I live for.
Slicer
Exhaust
Bug Bite
Viper
Nemesis Prime
Metrotitan
G1 Barricade

I’m probably the only guy in the world that wanted a Giant Purple Griffin made from Earthrise Sky Lynx.
>>
>>11762719
Can they even reuse Collaborative molds? I don't think they've ever done it before.
>>
>>11762743
>Flamewar or Nightbird depending on if two wheels or four
>>
>>11762743
>>11762746
It’s a shame we get so many evil versions of good guys and close to no good versions of evil guys
>>
>>11762722
it's kinda funny how taking two individually pretty neat figures, mixing them together and naming it after one of the coolest designs ever ends up making the blandest looking character of all time
>>
>>11762754
Because the Decepticons are cooler.
>>
>>11762743
I noticed we just got a "Nemesis Form Nemesis Prime", a G1 Optimus Prime in usual Nemesis colors (either based on Missing Link or the Legacy United G1 Optimus mold) in the New Legends comic, maybe we could get that Nemesis Prime in Age of Evolution, probably even in the first wave.
>>
>>11762720
what the actual fuck, 27 dollars.. how.
>>
>>11762038
Hopefully it's a new mold and we get MW Thundercracker/Skywarp with it and possibly a remold into MW Megaplex.
>>
>>11762761
my overfilled predacon shelf cannot disagree, nor the movie shelf above it which is mostly decepticools. The bad guys just have way cooler designs. cooler beast modes, cooler alien robot modes in bayformers, and even in g1 stuff, way cooler altmodes. i'll take tanks and jets over cars annnnyday.

but see, if they were good guy versions, they'd still BE those cool altmodes/shapes, right? just in different colors. which I like
Seriously I can't stop thinking about how much i want a shattered glass beast megatron now.
