I am really glad I backtracked and grabbed these kongs for kitbash. Only intended on making a UI, but now I've saved the goku black as well ;)

Is there a world where new Cell could be a 4000 yen barebones figure? When it comes to essential accessories he needs less than Frieza, no alt feet or a chopped tail. Just some hands and smaller face plates that swap under the crown and not full headsculpts like Frieza. He would use more plastic but Super Hero Piccolo was a larger one too at that low price.

Yea the crotch and abs was forward thinking, looks just like the Black one and could probably pass as the Golden one too. Still a valid way to do 4th form as it's an articulated figure and they have to cut it some way. Black and 4th share the shoulders, none of the 3 share the leg crystal shape.

My head canon has always been that Freiza has access to Cooler's final form, but spitefully doesn't use it because he turns bulkier and less sleek. Aside from Bulma, he might be the most shallow character in the DB universe imo.

Also, it may just be my autism, but it seems to be going Saiyan Saga/Buu Saga/Namek Saga from back to front. That order is throwing me off if it's supposed to representing the chronological development of the characters.

It doesn't quite look like a full shoulder. It is on a ball, but appears to be more than the tkdiy and has the bicep swivel. It'll be interesting to see how it works. Can't say im a big fan of the knee design though.
Also that tk body kong leg combo looks hilarious.

On the subject of legs, I ultimately ended up favouring the games begin over both df and kong. They just so much more versatile and also stop him from being too tall. Think im gonna need to get me a couple more for parts.

There's probably never been a better time for someone new to start getting into this line. There's a line refresh with all the Goku flavors, Vegeta and a new Frieza. A bunch of general reissues made a bunch of characters like Trunks, Super Buu and FP Broly available. When I started back then trying to get core characters was a hassle and some just didn't even exist outside of old 1.0s.
