He looks really good, and the articulation feels really good. There can be some improvements to the range of some joints, but they're still top notch domestic figures. At this point in time they're probably my favorites because of how the joints feel, with only Jada standing a chance (though I like MOTU more than any property they're making, so that's something).

If you're lucky you can still find the set in discounters like ROSS. I found mine there. It's very worth the money. I'm on the look out for the Skelly and He-man trucks now. I hope they reissue the Battle Cat truck too because paying more than 3 bucks for these things hurts.

What are the odds that this set is legit movie spoilers?
Like we see in the trailer He-Man, Roboto, Teela and Duncan rock up to Snake Mountain, and we see the scene where Skeletor has the King in the snakes mouth when He-Man confronts him.

So like what if this one box back is legitimately He-Man's penultimate fight, he has to beat Karg, Spikor and Goat Man before he gets to have his final fight with Skeletor?
And what if the inclusion of Evil-lyn and Gygor in the set indicate them as the opponents for Teela and Roboto (since shes fuck huge too)?

-Most of the new “import-style” joints work great
They’re really on the right track here but this is where my enjoyment ends

Can't speak about Walmart since I rarely get to those stores to talk to employees - all WM "near" me are like several freeway trips, several suburbs, or even several counties and multiple freeways away from my home.
Target, OTOH, I've even talked to the store leads and the movie/electronics people have nothing to do with the Collector's Corner by them, it's stocked by the vendors and maintained by the regular toy employees (which is why sometimes you find stock in both areas that should only be in one).

Target's already putting the Origins x Transformers on clearance in endcaps.

Let's see it in action! Is it worth the hype/price? I ended up only going for Clawful, I think I'm happy waiting for Chronicles to hit 200x, if ever, and otherwise I'd just pick favorites or cool exclusives from the Mondo line.

I'll post more thoughts later, but I wanted to take a quick pic of him with his "vest" accessory. First impression he feels good in hand. Plastic quality reminds me of my Storm collectibles street fighter figures. The paint smell will knock you back when first opening him so fair warning to open him in a ventilated area.

Like the head sculpt, height looks better (less squat) than the movie ones, and certainly the cartoon ones, and the sword (if it comes with this) is definitely a win, but otherwise it doesn't look like hundreds of dollars more of value than the movie/cartoon, etc. etc. ones.

I can order a good head sculpt and a good sword for about 10-25 each, depending on how much I want to spend.

Having in hand I do feel the $95 price (before taxes, shipping, tariff) is a little steep. $70 for what we get would have been more palatable. Overall I do like him. He's fun to mess with and pose. Though I wish the pegs for the hands were tighter as they can come loose along with the wristbands which should have been glued on. Also wish he came with instructions. It was only by accident I figured out how to remove the armor so I could take the sponge shirt off.

The body suit would be mandatory. You could almost get away with just repainting the head, Gonzalez had a beard.

Yeah $95.00 is pretty crazy, and then shipping (at least to where I live) is $50.00, and while he DOES look really good, and he may be one of the best if not the best He-man out there, I just don't think is worth it, This just may be the way the current market works and me having crazy expectations that don't match reality, I'm sure that's at least some of it.

This guy will be available on MC starting May 6 (24-hour Club Grayskull access, but when was the last time that mattered?).

I cut open Chronicles Man-At-Arms and I got some awful QC issues. There's globs of hardened glue and that frost effect all over his thighs where they used some adhesive to connect the armor plates, plus the double joint on his arm was stuck. Even after some hot water, it still snapped right off. So, be careful when buying and hold onto your receipts anons.
