The 90s artwork is not as good as the vintage artwork. No wonder why they went back to the older designs.

Nobody asked you.

The scale of both of these look like shit. Boomers really played with this stuff?
>>

>scale
Scale didn't matter because autism wasn't so prevalent, and scale modelling kept the small amount of them contained.
>Boomers really played with this stuff?
No. Boomers had outgrown toys by the time Star Wars was a thing and were too busy ruining society for all future generations. Now a boomer is going to force you to die in a desert hellhole. I'm not sure if the fact that you are a scale autist will be grounds for a medical discharge. Remember to hide your Labubus and Mr Beastlabs Beasticles from your drill sergeant.

While I agree I still have a soft spot for the POTF2 box art. That airbrushed vader head, the splash of green, it all speaks to me.

I'm with you.
The 90's power of the force box art is superior

They went back to vintage packaging because they tried to sucker nostalgiafags into buying the new shit
>>

Gen X are the gen who should also get shit with the boomers but magically get forgetten about all the time.

Are you for real? The whole toy industry right now is built around the brands of Gen-X kids. Even the brands that came before Gen-X are being shaped today by the Gen-X stuff, which is why no one's asking for a Classified GI Joe figure with flocked hair. kung-fu grip, and pants you can take off.

Oh cool, I guess that gives them the pass for all the other shit they are also the fault of with boomers.

I was about to say, but halfway in I stopped caring. Let him find out for himself or die in ignorance.

at least the 90s shit is still cheap

For the most part. Some of the original early-90s Batman movie and cartoon-derived stuff, Jurassic Park dinosaurs (especially the big ones), and POTF2 vehicles have gotten pricey.

I'd love modern versions of these.
