This is the reason why I mute all RS/RA tags, especially Murdermedia. As a yume ships were never my bag, but I never went out of my way to mute them until now. As a human Al fan it's exceptionally insufferable because 90% of all new human Al content is MM. Western fujos will squawk about how their artists 'feed' yumes, but I don't want to go to an artist's page and sort through hundreds of posts of Alastor rape/humiliation just to find one solo post. Though as a fan merch collector the sentiment is extremely clear. Alastor is an accessory to Vox and/or Lucifer. As I said, I love human Al, so I collect all human Al merch. Sometimes artists will be kind enough to make pins/charms that can be paired or kept separately to appeal to both shippers and yumes. Human Vox ALWAYS sells out first. Alastor is an afterthought to these people, a pretty little femboy or a big burly black stereotype to be an accessory to their favorite. It's incredibly tiresome.

I would disagree if the artist has numerous drawings of solo Vox and maybe one or two of solo Al, which has often been my experience. I don't follow eastern artists because I'm not a fujo, nor do I really dig the anime style for Al as a personal preference, so my point of reference is entirely the West outside of my small doujin collection. In the west I feel like these solo pieces are more like a tax to keep people from pointing out that they only make content of one character in what's supposed to be an OTP. That aside, I feel like western fujos have some weird bias against Alastor. Any way you slice it, it makes interaction with the Western fandom nightmarish if you genuinely love the character.

What are /deer/'s thoughts on the deer/cat relationship? It's interesting to me that Rosie treats Alastor like a dumb little pet whom she literally pets, but then Alastor turns around and does the exact same thing to Husk. Do you think he's even aware of this parallel?

I do, however, think he subconsciously cares about Husk in a friendly way. He's very reluctant to recognize this as a 'friendship' though, because that would mean being vulnerable in some way. Husk probably understands this and doesn't try to push the idea that they're friends, despite obviously caring about him. Husk wouldn't have tried to warn Al about Mimzy if he hated his guts. That said, I do think that deer is a cat guy, ha.

I wonder exactly how much Husk knows about Alastor, since he somehow knew that Alastor was owned by someone but not what he was doing for seven years. This isn’t exactly something Alastor would just tell someone. Perhaps that was also a factor in why Alastor chose to take his soul, or at least, a convenient lie. I’m keeping him close because he knows too much about me, not because I like him or anything. Platonic Radiotrio is the best thing ever, over any ship I want them to stay together. I wonder how Alastor will react to Huskerdust, and Madmaid though. I can’t see him being too thrilled at the prospect of letting them go to be in love.
