Now that I understand. Works that catch on bring expectations for the next art/stories, which then bring pressure for the one making it. Not every artist or writer is in it for the attention. In fact some of us prefer to only occasionally emerge out of comfortable obscurity to make something, and then head back into the void before the hype catches us.
