What is it with monster girls and an inability to control their appetites?
Old instincts from when they had to exist in the wild and battle humanity?
An addiction to human food?
Some innate desire to be a fatass?

I finished FE 3 Hopes off my backlog earlier this week. I chose the Blue Lions route, and I have a sneaking suspicion it was rushed in development because of how weirdly shoehorned in the Arval stuff and how anti-climactic the final boss was. Edelgard was barely a character in that entire route, and I think they genuinely forgot Hubert existed in order to make the "Brainwashed Edelgard" plot work.
Still, only paid like $10 for the game in the bargain bin, so I don't feel like I can get too bothered by it leaving me feel a little empty.
Playing Mina the Hollower now. Was gonna wait on it, but seeing so many people complain about it's difficulty ragebaited me into checking it out sooner. Really good game so far, certainly has some spice but it's been pretty fair.

Vampires were the first of the high class girls to go.
Turns out that being undead means you aren't burning a lot of calories and that the 'modern blood' has a heck of a lot of that in it.

Having not played 3 Hopes, that sounds...not great. But hey, bargain bin, at least you had fun with your time.
How flexible is Mina's accessibility? I'd love to pick it up but I do not have time or patience for tough as nails right now.

Mina has a probably the most in depth difficulty customization I've seen in a game.
I haven't messed around with it myself, but you can reduce the damage you take, remove damage from falling into pits, more check-points, increase i-frames, etc, and you can do the inverse to make the game harder.
You can even turn off the Dark Souls "lose all your currency on a repeat death thing" stuff if you're just here for a GBC style Zelda experience. (and I might do that myself if I end up getting cooked too much later on).
There are presets too, "Assist mode" should have most of the easier options turned on by default.

Yeah, I'll give the game points in that regard. It gave some undercooked characters some more to do and it was nice seeing a lot of the character mentioned, but never actually shown in 3H. Made me like Felix a lot more by having him act as Dimitri's sword to Dedue's shield.
Still, there are pretty bizarre character placements or lack there of in the story.
Caspar and his father are always brawling together, but Ferdinand, Mr "proud of his noble heritage", never shows up to defend his father in his final battle? Bernadetta's dad is chosen as the last line of defense of the empire before the final battle with Edelgard instead of Hubert? Based on what friends have said with their own experiences, GW and SB are better than AG, aside from Claude being randomly re-characterized with bloodlust for killing Rhea.

>aside from Claude being randomly re-characterized with bloodlust for killing Rhea.
Even Dmitri was saying he didn't like the church but had to go along with it because it was the foundation of his kingdom, which is really weird as Rhea was nothing but a saint in this game. She even aids Edelgard in the beginning to kick the slitherers out of the empire as best as she could.

There's something oddly heart warming about the fact that no matter how many years pass, the mere mention of new Tifa drives all men to let their base instincts slip out no matter how well composed they usually are.
Through dicks, unity really is true.
Nomura can't say it legally, but I know he's proud of creating the most multigenerational coomer icon.
