Looksmaxxing doesn't come from here. It comes from PSL sphere which goes back to early 2010s. The only looksmaxxing terms that come from here are Chad and Stacy, but I'm not entirely sure about the former. Looksmaxxing sphere on its own doesn't share a lot of with this place, it has more similarities with old bodybuilding forums and late 2000s PUA scene (it grew out in opposition to it).

Normalfags won‘t go to Taiwan. Most people don‘t even know the country exists and think of Thailand when they hear the name. And those who do know mostly do so because of tensions with China, which mostly keeps them afraid enough not to go.

That said: you should go if you haven‘t, it‘s easily one of the best countries in Asia. Every single thing OP said is correct and you should go before China eventually takes over in the longterm and turns the place to shit.
