What's your experience been like going on cruises?

Nothing like this, it was pretty fun. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean and watching the sunrise/set or a new port coming into view was absolute peak.
Also had fun going to entertainment venues and recognising people around the ship, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Ship days can be a lil dull but you can work around it pretty well by just doing like
Breakfast>swim>movie>lunch>relax>kareoke>dinner>show
Was also fun getting to visit different port cities since they tend to feel a bit more authentic over a more popular destination (talking more like Hamburg vs Berlin, not Hamburg vs Nuremberg)

I went on a carnival cruise like that with my life's family. It was my first cruise experience. It was shit ngl.
Carnival appeals to a certain type - trash. That includes trash of all colors. It's a lot of mixed mystery meat doing pic related.
My wife's family are fucking cheapskates that do vacation wrong.
Food was surprisingly amazing though. Blue Iguana is like a chipotle knock-off they have on board and I ate that shit daily.

Yes, it's under $200 for the 2 day Los Angeles to Baja mexico cruise, slightly more for the Miami or Tampa to Bahamas cruise. Hence why it attracts a certain crowd.
