i think i severely offended them and need to deport myself and stay in america forever. fuck all of you for convincing me it'd be ok. i don't know japanese but i had been able to get by places with english or some hand motions so far so i didn't know it'd be a huge problem at this particular cafe. i have 5 days left in my trip but didnt go outside at all today so far as im scared of offending them again with my not being able to speak japanese. i can't recover mentally. nothing like that has happened to me before in any country ever.

What did you do anon? You should at least know some basic Japanese words or phrases if you are going to attempt to go somewhere local like that or at minimum use a translator app.
