I read cruise reviews for fun to gain insight into people's lives and it's sort of anthropological, but a lot of the ship owners seem really scammy and willing to do shady things for money.
The concept of packing thousands on a boat is just unseemly.

Anyone who willingly enters such an arrangement is militantly hylic.
>>2880563 there are major norovirus outbreaks 1-2 a year, it'll be fine. The countries blocking the ship are comically over-reaticting to a virus where even if person to person transmission is possible, it's pretty hard to do.
>>2880563 There is one ocean liner left, not a cruise ship; no casinos or pools or shit. Just passage from the uk to the us. I wanted to go on it some day. Oh well.
>>2880563 Why the fuck are rich people paying multiple tens of thousands of dollars to be on a floating hotel that docks in 3rd world shitholes anyway?
>thing only found by eating infected animals or animal feces can transfer this to humans Okay so the ship had some piss poor health management and killed a white person rather than the nogs they kill yearly.
>>2880677 No you don't, imagine 4-5 out of 10's thinking they are 9's usually overweight and the only ones in orgies or swingers are the +40's just together and on the cruise "for the kids".
>>2880656 It’s fun. And it’s also vacationing on easy mode. All you really have to worry about is getting to and from the port. And once you’re on board, the only stress you’ll experience is the stress on your waistband from the food.
Just…avoid the short Carnival cruises, unless you like watching drunks and shouty black people.
>>2880563 >Will this officially kill the Cruise Ship industry? i think plenty of cruise passengers have never heard of hanta virus, and even more will forget about it in a month
>>2880740 sometimes yes and sometimes no. I worked on cruises in University. Some of the port stops are pretty great, but others are in the middle of buttfuck nowehere or in some industrial container port or both. They will say they dock in Rome but then you end up in Civitivecchia. Check the routes, check the ports, but also check where they dock and for how long you will be there. It is pretty brutal to pull up and figure you are just going to be able to walk out to whatever and realize you are stuck trying to get to where you would like or only having a couple of hours if it all to do anything.
>>2880563 Cruise ship riders are NPCs. They're chickens in a cage and they don't think about anything. Just give them alcohol and they're happy. You could announce they're all being killed in 2 days and none would even think about it.
>>2880656 >An average cruise costs about $150 to $300 per person, per day. For a standard 7-day trip, base fares range from $700 to $1,500 per person, bringing the total to roughly $1,500 to $2,500 once you factor in onboard spending and extras.
Docking at some peaceful Mediterranean town with my 1000 Amerimutt compatriots must be what it feels like to arrive by boat at the English coast as an illegal African
I went down a big cruise rabbithole. I also thought they were just NPC floating theme parks but that’s only on segment of the market. Cunard, Viking, and Silversea all seem more upmarket, no waterslides and pool parties, and they have onboard libraries and lectures. I want to go on a (nice) cruise desu.
>>2880563 >OMG this rare but well-known illness is totally going to kill off the entire planet, cruise ships first! Sorry Fauci, you shot your wad in 2021. I hope you get the needle for your crimes.
>>2886564 >STORM THE SHOPPING MALL!!! >[wave of blubber covers town] meh
>>2886734 >they have onboard libraries and lectures. I want to go on a (nice) cruise desu. performative larping. zlibrary is bigger and free. jewtube has infinite lectures i can pause and rewind any time
>>2887028 I can’t say I’d read their books or attend the lectures, but the different vibe isn’t going to attract obese amerimutt families trying to drink a dozen pina coladas every day
>>2887034 most Americamutts on cruises are usually newlyweds or nearly deads. Shit is done by 9 pm on most roots as most are either asleep with the dentures in a glass or too busy taggin ass.
