$700/w for a one bedder is in like Bondi beach or a luxe new apartment in the city.
That said I agree with everything else and that’s why I’m fucking off completely as soon as I can.
I’ll still visit but stick to the beach suburbs (not Melbourne tho, it’s full of drug addicts, is cold and the beach is utter shit).
Shitney eastern suburbs, Perth and QLD. Chuck the rest in the Ganges. It’s beyond cooked.

>700$ per week for a one bedder
Is that a typo? A decent one bedder is at least $7000 per week. If you want something ideal it will be more than $10k

I refuse to believe the situation is worse than canada

>whites, who won't work for slave wages, who know there ARE work protection laws, are not hired. pushing them to the bottom of society. THAT is where they destroy themselves FOR the government with drug abuse etc
Honestly, sounds like westoids just need to drop the "dude trust me bro communism is bad bro" and just embrace it. While the world has 8000 dollar rents and shitty ass transportation and jeets everywhere, China has falling prices, trains connecting everywhere, and the government keeps foreigners out.

Short term?
How many tourists are signing a 12 month lease
Short term rentals outside of Airbnb or inner city serviced apartments is unheard of
>>
>>2885655
You've never been there. Australia has the best short term rental infrastructure in the western world. Everything is designed for weekly stays for backpackers

Don't you have better things to do than reposting a post from last year almost word for word?
Maybe things would be better for you if you got your act together rather than whine about Brahmins on a ching chong cartoon image board little Timmy.

>Australia is pretty much over, right?
Ftfy

Mass migration has killed this country.
I walked through the suburb of my childhood home last week and every second house has been torn down and converted into a duplex or row of townhouses. Australian culture is built around space - backyard cricket and bbqs, swimming in the pool on a hot summers day, going camping or fishing on the weekend - simple things like that become harder or impossible when you're crammed into some shoebox with a 1 car garage and a yard that you can barely cram a single table into. Not to mention the death of all the native wildlife. Goodbye to possums in the trees, kookaburras on the washing line and bluetongues in the bushes. We traded them for these endless fucking hordes of jeets.

>aussies gleefully want to bring the culture wars and division of the US to Australia
>>Theres no "white" suburbs anymore
Lmao the lack of self awareness here.
You're acting like these identity politics are just a "US import" while also bitching about not having your own racially exclusive neighborhoods? Am I really gonna have to explain to you what's funny about this?

At this point if communism means closing the borders I'm all for it

This. It's disgraceful. The new buildings they replace those soulful family homes with nicely sized backyards they tear down are abominations that will be decrepit in a decade. I'd want to kms if I had to live in a new housing estate.

Was Australia ever on for tourists? Real tourists, not Europeans on a working holiday or backpackers.
>no unique cultural landmarks of worth
>Red Center and Uluru is the only unique feature of note
>Sydney is any other first world city with a cool bridge and photogenic harbour
>no unique festivals/concerts/sporting events that make visiting worth it
>Great Barrier Reef is completely bleached now, but was never really worth crossing the world for when there is better diving in SEA
Australia has a lot of things for Australians to see but I would never recommend anyone who isn't from Australia to visit the Kimberly or Sydney unless he is very wealthy and 10k to tick off another continent is peanuts.

Australians especially those on the far left and right slavishly follow whatever America is doing in politics. When you have faggots like Barnaby Joyce paying for "Make Australia Great Again" ads in every Murdoch newspaper you know that we're just copycats.
Before you rant about jeets and sudanese knifegangs I'm not saying that I want anything like that in this country but you're completely disingenuous if you can't recognise that every poli and culture war retard in this country LARPs as an American, cares about American issues, speaks like an American and tries to copy American political movements in Australia.

If OP thinks any of these problems are somehow unique to Australia or didn't develop in tandem with the rest of the west I'm curious to hear where their ideal society is. Probably some faggot who thinks he'll "fit right in" in Japan kawaii desu ethnostate. Find me a downtown in any large city that isn't riddled with homeless people, opiods, investment real estate, bloc project housing, and people with those retarded doordash backpacks running red lights on e-scooters. For what it's worth, I've visited Perth, Melbourne and parts of Sydney on business within the past six or so years and found the suburbs very clean and pleasant. The Sydney CBD was kind of gross but no worse than the Financial District in SF, Bunker Hill in LA, Manhattan, etc. But then again I'm not a pol/ack/ and seeing more than one brown person per day doesn't make me go into a chud fit of rage about great replacement or whatever.

The only way to preserve the remaining natural habitat in the face of population growth is to cram the humans together in the places they already ruined with their presence.
>>2885686
That sounds pretty nice desu. You used to be able to get a roundtrip from Singapore to Sydney for barely $200 USD, making a week's stay in AUS perfectly doable for a budget traveler if you are already visiting Southeast Asia. Sucks that flight prices have gone up so much.

>muh chinese, muh indians, muh brown people
None of this shit is a negative for /trv/. Anons happily travel around the world just to be around brown Asians.
