man, put into this perspective- I really haven't visited much. Its all just from my employment. I want to see more of Europe.

Even having visited 34 countries, which feels like a lot, looking at the map it feels like not much at all. Would love to see more of eastern europe, the balkans, kazakhstan, peru, bolivia, ecuador.
When I was younger I thought I wanted to see everywhere, but now that I'm older I know there's large swathes of the planet I have very little interest in visiting (the jeet countries, most of africa, the middle east)

Switzerland shouldn't be marked, that's a mistake. Might visit this September though.

Cyprus being the one counted as Asia but to be fair, it's just Greece lite, only really been around the neighbourhood.
My favourite places are probably
>St petersburg, Russia
Really grandeur, I can see that the Tsars really wanted to make it look as imperial as possible, and it's great that it's well preserved without modern architecture ruining the feeling.
>Bonifacio, Corsica
One search on google you'll understand, pure kino
>Dubrovnik, Croatia
Partly same as above, got a great fortress/medieval feel to it, doesn't sit on a cliff though.
But it's a lot bigger and the countryside around it has plenty of other interesting things to see, Walls of Ston aren't to far away.

Including non-UN (2 territories + Taiwan for me) = pic related

Only UN =
21% of world
2% Africa
23% Asia
40% Europe
23% North America
46% South America
Oceania 0%

Countries are an abysmal way to count your travels.
So regions instead

I'm long overdue to revisit the Nigerian motherland. Also I really want to visit more of Europe and South America. I'm gonna head to Madrid later this year to practice my Spanish skills.

Aussie here, everything is so far away

60 so far, after 50 I slowed down, maybe because of age or maybe Im no longer avid travelfag. More and more I prefer to visit places that Im sure wont waste my time (turist traps, popular destinations that suck) that I already checked or just nature in general.
I spoke with some people that have twice as much countries under their belt and I think ita a general conclusion that after awhile you arrive to same conclusion. There are exceptions, completionist that just make it out their whole life, but in general thats just unhealhly habit that mostly serves as a braging thing.

I got my current passport in January 2020 and have traveled every year since then.

Slow travel is much more enjoyable than taking infinity bus rides or flights from one place to another. Pick a hub town, stay there a while, and take leisurely daytrips to nearby places to fill your spare time.

While I fail to see the point of just racking up stamps for the sake of it with 3-day border hops that are more transit than sightseeing, I still enjoy visting a completely new country for the sake of it. It's just nice to visit some place and form a personal impression of it, however simplistic it may be. I don't particularly care about how objectively interesting or pleasant the country is, just the novelty of being somewhere I haven't been before still gives me joy, even if there's fuck all to do there really. Give me tickets to any random dump that won't kill me and I'm off.
