Have you flown recently? Nobody talks to strangers on airplanes anymore. They all just take naps, stare at the goyscreen, or zone out. Only one time on a flight I was seated next to an American boomer returning to his Filipina wife in Mindanao after completely closing out his life in America, bank accounts and all. Next to him was another guy visiting the Philippines on business. I snuck six shot bottles of vodka into my carry-on, drank them after takeoff, then we three chatted off and on throughout the flight.
