I think women like her are top-tier gorgeous, it's just that they're pretty in a kind, gentle, and natural way that doesn't necessarily stand out as 'hot' to normies. Maybe she seems too much like a gentle wife or mom, or laid-back hippie to them. Personally I regard this as ultimate wife material and extremely sexy. But somehow I find wife or gf material sexy

these are tells that you've spun something as "ideal" because you're aware that you yourself are in the low tiers of attractiveness and your pride won't let you ever acknowledge the fact that there are women out there you'd never have a chance with purely based on looks, actual hot women. gayer than actual homosexuals you lot.

>>
>>219775395
I'd say it's more that you are more concerned with superficial ideas of attractiveness, and can't recognize true beauty which usually has a spiritual dimension to it, a depth factor

I didn't say Jessica isn't incredibly physically beautiful, but she radiates a spiritual beauty as well. It's the blending of the two that I like. Going by your post I imagine you don't resonate with kind energy so maybe its appeal doesn't register for you?
>>
>>219775402
Good to see ya
>>
>>219775536
>I'd say it's more that you are more concerned with superficial ideas of attractiveness
physical attraction IS superficial, retardo-chan. what you're doing is trying to rationalize your self-imposed trauma into a more noble thing
>>
>>219750904
Every time I see Jessica Harper's face I am completely taken aback.
>>
>>219775587
Suspirianon is right though, beauty does have a spiritual depth to it. When a toddler draws a shitty scribble of a cat, people still appreciate that drawing in spite of its shitty poorly drawn lines; not because they rationalized their trauma of being bad artists, but that the drawing communicates the spiritual struggle of life against matter. Think of a rose growing in an abandoned junkyard. Of a tiny birb flapping its tiny little birb wings for the first time. Of Thom Yorke cracking his voice like a pubescent boy every time he sings live. We don't need rationalizations to find these beautiful, the struggle is intuitively beautiful to us! Jessica Harpner's beauty is like this too, she may not be a 10 in the conventional sense but she has a vitality that communicates the eternal will to struggle embedded in every lifeform. Perhaps this is also why we find hot people the most beautiful when they're all emo and melancholic, because a happy hot person doesn't communicate as much of this 'struggle'.
>>
>>219774373
>Thick eyebrows are kino
Yes
>>
>>219775864
It's crazy someone like her not only exists, but during our own lifetime.
>>
>>219752656
I like hairy arms and happy trail.
>>
>>219777652
Well said. It's a soulfulness, this kind of deep beauty. I personally think it's true beauty. It's more of like a lyrical or sonorous quality

Someone like Amber Heard for instance has the supposedly beautiful proportions but there is a vacancy and spiritual ugliness. Harper has an inner richness, a deep emotional reserve... of empathy and kindness and sadness and sometimes even tinges of fear or suffering which, as you're suggesting, has a kind of pathos that gives it this richness

Someone else with deep inner beauty is Sissy Spacek. I'm not saying she or Jessica aren't physically beautiful, although the most appealing examples of the balance of physical and spiritual beauty is when there is almost necessarily a degree of character or strangeness or 'flaw' or subtlety to their appearance, helping to embody that tension you're describing

>because a happy hot person doesn't communicate as much of this 'struggle'.

That reminds me of that "hot" brazilian chick from the clip at the food truck. Her just full-throttle egotist energy and hypersexuality is too much. You have to offset that level of attractiveness with some humility and gentleness or it's almost offputting (but anyone who is overly egotistical is offputting; it's interesting that attractiveness doesn't necessarily shield a person from that fault). It's like it's unfeminine, or intense to the point of being like overripeness or something

I think I'm not very into latinas, or even a lot of Italian women, for this reason. The boisterousness is unpleasant in a woman imo. I like gentle women (and the Bible says they should be this way so this preference a lot of men have can be backed up spiritually)
>>
>>
>>219780953
>>219777652
I hate beautiful, rich, and especially happy people.
>>
>>219778597
Hell yeah! I love how women barely ever shaved back then.

>>219780218
Well put. Imo, part of Harper and Spacek's appeal is having stunning looks without looking like a stereotypical supermodel (more in line with the vacuousness of someone like Heard). Critics would call her plain compared to someone like Heard but all I see is a 10/10.
Side note: Jess was actually close to modeling for Mademoiselle magazine before she began her acting career, and it makes complete sense.
>>
>>219781073
Yeah, I see a 10/10 too. I'm not sure why anyone might rate her as more mid level except that maybe they prefer someone more overtly sexy in their energy and presentation, more makeup, stereotypically "hot".

Then again, for me, that gorgeous face and those EYES should demonstrate her high level of beauty well enough, even if she has a more subdued and gentle and non-showy energy

Which is also attractive, but I think shallow people relate more to showy, explicit presentation and energy because they're crass or selfish and like is drawn to like. Some people would say they're "low vibrational" and attracted to low vibrational appearances
>>
>>219781440
Low vibrational as in more carnal, more materially-oriented, rather than oriented to something higher + deeper (beauty that feels like a reflection of something above them/beyond us, a higher ideal/form or inner spark shining through ephemeral appearances)
>>
>>219781026
That seems irrational to me. I only hate normal people.

>Why do so many of the best actresses have small tits?
Because tiny tits are incredibly charming and aristocratic compared to big honkers. Flat = justice
>>
Tbh at first I didn't like it. It doesn't make much sense. Random rooms full of razor wire, ugly hairy man hand stabbing people with a fake knife and super red fake blood, maggots on the ceiling, WITCH, etc... etc... I was like wtf why is this a horror classic, this shit sucks. Some people claim this is scary lol??

Then I went to bed and was legitimately spooked tossing and turning thinking about it. I can best describe it as some horrible hag nightmare put to screen. I guess Argento studied the use of color in old Disney fairy tales and all this crazy subliminal shit. The film really targets the unconcious mind in a way no other film really does, at least that I've come across. Shit legitimately feels cursed.

Argento is often such a hack yet he has these moments of pure cinematic bliss and they all coincide with him still being with Daria Nicolodi that I often wonder if she did moments like Suspiria opening and whatnot. Likely not.

I'm afraid you both are the epitome of what I am describing. Allow me to expand:
You are an ape, as such you are primarily driven by superficial needs, physical attraction being one of them. Naturally, this attraction can fluctuate based on early exposure of the individual to certain human environments, but not so much that it is fundamentally and consistently different in independent instances.
There's no denying that a teenager, i.e someone in the blossoming of their own sexuality, will gravitate towards an ideal set of physical characteristics at first, shared by their fellows for the most part. But social aspects will also dictate impetuses to stand out, as social hierarchies are dynamic and much too powerful in these formative years. It is from then on that the more peculiar tastes begin forming, generally, manifesting themselves more obviously later.
The fact that you are so hung up on an ethereal sense of kindness in the gauging of a woman's attractiveness, tells me all I need to know, in light of the above exposé: you've been, and likely still are, for the most part of your life, a fat, ugly loser, in the colloquial and social sense, who's never had a virtual chance with a coveted female, as in ranking in the top percentiles of physical attractiveness, influenced by your specific social and demographic circumstances. This in turn has made rejection, in light of the imaginary attempt to bridge this gap, the primary drive in the shaping of your subconscious preferences, which would highlight, above all, traits as kindness and the like, as being "ideal." So it's not that this is a spontaneous magnetism we're witnessing, in the dominion of physical attraction, but a constantly, albeit perhaps unknowingly, renewed conviction, in order to concile your pride with the complex social order that manifests naturally in our midst, and thus it's so ingrained by now that it a different conception doesn't even compute in your own defensive mind.

Daria co-wrote the screenplay and was responsible for adapting the Three Mothers story from Suspiria de Profundis, so she very well could have. It's safe to say the opening sequence is pure Argento though.
