Saw it in the cinema for the sound. It's disappointing shit.

Watching movies alone(at home) with headphones on is always a better experience.

I thought it was good for a movie with a 500 budget but I wasn’t totally blown away by it.

I read the plot synopsis and it just sounds like pro-choice shitlibbery.

Trailer looked interesting, but user reviews on RT are pretty weak. Worth an hour and a half of my time?

yeah it's a good time waster. Better than every other horror out currently.

Said nobody ever.
Never in your entire worthless life will your shitty house match my experience watching HEAT, or Civil War in dolby cinema

Tell that to my 77" OLED tv

Yea who can beat being surrounded by retards constantly checking their phones and/or chatting with each other during the movie. And the sweet symphony of fatasses crunching on junk food and slurping up soda. And if it's a real nice theater experience, some old asshole will fall asleep halfway through the movie and snore through the rest. That doesn't beat, of course, the multiple times that a large group of teens have ran into my theater to make loud noises and disrupt everyone until they're kicked out. All for the cheap price of $20+/tickets!

DUDE LETS END THE MOVIE WITHOUT SHOWING ANYTHING THAT THE AUDIENCE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR LMAO

It's the kind of movie you watch completely alone with headphones on late at night. There are scenes that reminded me of Vast of Night, where the screen fades to black and all you hear is someone talking

My OLED gives me better contrast and overall image quality than any movie theater.
My headphones give me better sound quality than the majority of movie theaters.

It's almost like the audience was listening to a recording

Fuck this movie, all build up and no payoff, if I wanted to be blueballed I'd go see my ex wife.

This is a real boomer take from the age of 32" LCDs and 2.1 setups. The theatre experience keeps getting worse. Look up a graph of effective screen size relative to distance, literally half the seats in a theatre will have a smaller screen than you can have at home at normal seating distance and it's not even a luxury anymore.

Same thing with the sound. It's either cranked to ear pain levels or so low theatre chatter overcomes it. Regardless you can be sure the audio mixing is shit and even a drama movie has the setting for MASSIVE BASS to sell whatever action movie shit is the big box office draw. Mixing on home media has also become bad, but guess what, at home you can adjust the audio settings. Wow! You can also adjust the image. No more dark muddled mess of cinematography you can't see shit on because (once again) the theatre can't be arsed to change settings from whatever's best for the big draw movies (I hope you like blue cats).

Let's not even discuss the critters that infest the cinema experience and ruin it. I've not been to a showing without some phone waving retards in the rows in front of me for 10 years.

Poorfags in shambles

Then why was this released as a movie instead of an audio drama?

I'm not poor but I am not in the business of spending money on shitty experiences.
