I mean they can get pretty good criticisms from this.
We really don’t need another 20 mins worth of recap and parents can simply tell their children and vice versa what happened so far.
It didn’t need to be so anime with the fights either, but at least it wasn’t headache-inducing.
It was very flashy, but kids can easily get bored if there’s too much of it.
Comedy works, animation is up to snuff, visual lighting is spectacular, story is rather balls, but I guess it does have a justified existence like Dragon Ball Super Broly if enough people demanded more animated features.
The demon, however, is too similar to the Robin Williams Genie from Aladdin. Everyone just laughed when the big blue guy showed up.
Not digging how the voice actors didn’t even try to impersonate the original VA sounds either.
Aang’s design can also be better if he look more like Mr. Clean and less like the Buddhist convert from King of the Hill.
It was rather pretentious in a couple parts, thankfully it wasn’t OH MY HECKIN JESUS-KEANU REEVES like most infantile Japanese anime

It sucks that it’s leaked, but the genie is already out of the bottle. I’m sure there’s enough people bitching about the Korra’s interpretation of the Spirit World and not strictly TLA already as is.

Even the first cartoon was shit, it ended with the main characters having to decide between killing the bad guy or sticking to his pacifist ideas with was actually interesting, but then he gets super duper power up that lets him defeat the bad guy without killing him lmao, trash writing.
