i disagree, this was the softest season (4 isn't canon) and they explicitly intended to take things in a chiller direction for a few reasons. one of the reasons is repair costs, but the house still got messed up pretty badly anyway, so they got the bad end of the stick both ways. They should do famous house 2 but pitch it as a "sci fi-themed reality show" to contestants. Space station themed, tts in the form of an AI assistant that slowly goes rouge (TTS), fish are assigned tasks, have random drills and inspections etc. Things slowly get darker and more mean-spirited as the show goes on and people are chucked out the airlock.

Famous House was probably the most impressive thing they ever attempted and felt like an actual evolution of the show. It deserves another shot.
