What's your favorite extraterrestrial species? For me, it's the Daleks.

I like Genesis but I have a soft spot for Death to the Daleks.

Literally every Dalek story is garbage. Daleks are a rare sort of monster where the idea of the Dalek is so perfect and exists in its own space while the application of the Dalek in a story is always haphazard and sloppy.

They work best as either operating under constraint and thereby having to be conniving like in Power of the Daleks, or the other end where they are in control and are just killing everything like in Dalek.

Daleks are always fun but i personally like Vashta Nerada and Weeping angels better. At least conceptually. That said, if movies count i guess the original Xenomorph is still the best, most dangerous alien out there. I also have a soft spot for both Andorians (because Shran is based as fuck and any pinkskin that disagrees is just wrong) and Vulcans because Tpol is the sex (and yes i realize they are just space elves but i didn´t make the rules)

I always found nu-who daleks too OP. The classic ones were still dangerous but I liked that a lone dalek could be taken out by a determined group of humans and were still somewhat at a disadvantage due to their design.
