I think the ending of LOST is really what happens when you die. Just from all the spiritual exploration I've done. I just watched the final scene on YouTube again and of course the writers incorporated actual spiritual concepts so they got it pretty accurately. When the light brightens and they're all in awe, the truth of the universe and their lives is made clear and they then realise they can walk through that door...and whatever might be beyond.

The ending is the embodiment of the showrunners having no plan and winging it for the entire duration. Nonsense on top of nonsense.

i stopped watching lost, game of thrones, attack on titan a couple seasons in because I knew they didn't know what they were doing and the ending will be shit.

If they were all dead from the crash did it really have to go on for that long? The whole thing could have just been a movie and that's the twist ending and no one gets mad
