Getting genuinely angry thinking about how the Jew showrunners created this whole awful show just for the Red Wedding only to portray it in the dumbest way imaginable. There's just no sense of the tragedy that's in the books at all, of the promising boy-king murdered so cruelly, the dreadful atmosphere as their just cause is gradually lost. It's just "let's shove vulgar imagery in the audience's face," no different from the Theon torture scenes. Demented heeb freaks.

Ned gets even more chances to show off how sanctimonious he is in the books but he also comes off as more gentle, vulnerable, even feminine than Sean Bean's portrayal I think, and his innocence makes it pretty sad. It's still the greatest tragedy of the novels and a part of me will always wish we got some lower-stakes story where he remained the protagonist.
