So I went ahead and read The Earth and The Air. There is sex but it isn't explicit on how it goes down. Two, this isn't how network TV works. If a show does poorly, adding gay representation just makes its financial outlook shakier not safer. There is nothing dishonest happening here. He adds gay characters because he is gay and he wants more gay characters. I always said that so far no ThaiGL has had a bad ending but I finally watched the last episode of Runaway and it's a totally apropiate for the series/genre but it's a bad ending.

Most are in category 1, but they are varying degrees of how much soap opera style they are. Dangerous Queen is definitely on the extreme spectrum imo. This place talked about Queen being an overall chill person and the only "dangerous" thing is the uncomfortable power and status dynamic. Which wasn't a huge deal because, again, Queen wasn't abusive. For me personally it was kinda funny in a meta sense because I made a mistake and read up on the actresses' background. The poorfag mc is actually the CEO of the company and she hand picked and cast Queen lmao, it's literally the inverted power dynamic of the show.

ah not really, sorry to say. You see the Thai GL is still in its honeymoon era (only 3rd year) and writers seemingly still want fluff and healing before they tackle toxic yanderes. Although seeing >>4547815 that's starting to change.

But I guess you should check out Player. It's toxic but kinda sad too because shit gets real. It's not raunchy sexy toxicity we all want.
If you want toxic SMUT then Girl Rules all the way. Half the cast is unhinged.
Also maybe check out 4 Elements Earth? It's a comedy but the main girl is really possessive and bit of a creep lol. But it's still lighthearted.

This episode of Girl Rules really jumped the shark.
They've had bad editing, sound errors, and incomprehensible plot points in previous episodes I would still describe as good overall. But this one was so bad it derails the show for me.
Watching this makes me think that the next one should be the finale, since there isn't enough content to support 12 episodes. The writing is the downfall of another Thai GL.
Two of the couples are confirmed together and the third is starting now. The only couple remaining is EmiBonnie as an afterthought.
What can actually happen in 3 more episodes? An ass-pull anime villain psychologist who is actually Kapook's mother? There's nothing left, next episode's preview looks like filler with nowhere else to go.

Going by the special episode's trailer, it's different from the special after story chapter from the book, which was kind of disgusting because it was all about "daddy" strap on sex and Bo asking to be impregnated with Queen's brother's sperm.

I watched Player, and absolutely loved it (especially the side couple). Now I'm watching My Only Sunshine. I got freaked out by the Michael Jackson faces at first, but I guess I'm getting used to them now.

Girl Rules is a trainwrek, I'm watching just to finish the series now and for ShashaGorya who are the most interesting couple but it takes me like four hours to watch a whole episode. I blame the terrible screenplay, writing, and rushed production because I've seen most of these women act waaay better than in this series before but here, it's like they did two takes for each scene and called it a day.
The director is gay and has done BL before (I don't watch that stuff) and fans have praised him but if this is the standard for those series, they do not translate well into GL. And I love Film but the way she portrays Bambi with overly exagerated facial expressions twisting her face all the time, is sooo cheap acting and lame.
Also, it's surprisingly tame regarding sex scenes, even for GMMTV, which is weird because when the series was announced sex scenes were the second biggest selling point for this series, main one was the official couple mixing which has been minimal or just play pretend.


Change's upcoming multicouple series looks promising. It's directed by P'Bo, like Affair and Hometown Romance which are amazing.

Because it's internationally available on IQIYI, a paid service, as it was announced like two months before premiering.
The series started and socmed bitches posted a map with only Thailand and like two other Asian countries marked as the only places with GR available... but that was only for Youtube, it was streaming for other countries on the paid platform.
They complained on twitter and GMM started posting the series on yt for free since like episode 2 or 3 because GL fans didn't want to pay. It was retarded.
