I finally beat pantheon 5 and now I’m doing my soul steel run on HK.
I had to bench warp because I walked into the orange ball spewing boss in crossroads because I forgot it was there and almost died.
Thinking of restarting the save because I feel dirty for bench warp cheesing and I know I can beat SS without it.

Not a pisser like that guy, but yeah First Sinner has a special place for me. I was struggling getting through the game at some points, but nothing super crazy. But first encountering First Sinner I got my fucking shit pushed in in about three seconds and I legitimately did not see a single window for me to do anything, it was a real solid wall I felt was gonna be too much for me. But then I slowly got better and saw more tiny windows to hit back and I reached a flow-state the likes of which I've rarely felt, and it felt like I finally engaged with the combat and controls the way the devs intended, and it was fucking exhilarating.
I have very similar feelings on Skarrsinger Carmelita, absolute ludokino
